A new startup is using machine learning and data from existing vehicle sensors to create virtual sensors, including a side slip angle estimator and speed estimator, that do not require additional hardware. These virtual sensors can be used to improve traction control systems and adaptive aerodynamics on performance vehicles. The side slip angle estimator in particular allows for improved traction control and more control over drift for a fun driving experience while maintaining safety.

Ergonomics have also rewritten how employees are effected by the work they do. In current practice, the operators that works in a production line (especially in automotive plant) will have to give out their energy to manually push the trolley with an estimated weight that is nearly to 500kg. The trolley with the body frame needed to be deliver from one defined location to the next. It is believe that the current method applied is one of the effective way to bring the trolley to the next station. However, the push and pull forces that is applied to the skid or trolley with a heavy load may cause an ergonomics effects to the operators such as the Low – back Disorder (LBD). Manual material handling work has been reported contributing to a large percentage of MSDs annually. LBD is generally caused by cumulative effects of faulty body mechanics, poor posture, awkward movements and improper lifting techniques. The main objectives of this project is to fabricate an AGV by using appropriate material and process that is able to tow a trolley or skid with a load with an estimated weight of 500kg and accomplish a safe handling operations by replacing the operators with AGV. In this project, the AGV is fabricated accordingly through appropriate process such as welding, assembly and etc. This AGV responses and navigation is controlled by the microcontroller which is a device that act as the main brain. It has the ability to follow the black line as it guide path by using the IR line sensor and avoid the obstacles by using the ultrasonic sensor. The project implicates of fabrication of the hardware. AGV is, therefore, suitable for automating material handling in batch production and mixed model production,

For example, a driver can show how to do a specific maneuver and a ML algorithm extract the objective function maximized by the driver behaviour.This method is known as Inverse Reinforcement Learning [2] (IRL).
The thesis will deepen the theory behind inverse reinforcement learning to analyze the possible applications of this approach to autonomous driving [3] in a simulated environment [4, 5, 6].

The human genome project [1], an international scientific research project with the goal of determining the sequence of nucleotide base pairs that make up human DNA, lasted roughly 15 years and cost $5 billion (adjusted for inflation). With the recent advances in genome sequencing technology, that cost has now reduced to a few hundreds dollars [2] and can be done overnight.
Being able to access this kind of information may have a deep impact on the way complex diseases are treated: physicians will shift from general-purpose treatments to specific ones, tailored on the individual patient’s genomic features.This approach is referred to as precision medicine.
There are however several caveats: first of all, due to the nature of the problem, knowledge of both the biomedical and the computer science domain are required in order to correctly approach it; second, unlike more classical scenarios such as image classification or object detection, it is much more difficult to determine the accuracy of the system due to the complex and multifactorial nature of complex diseases such as cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.
Moreover, a black box kind of solution is unlikely to be of any use, due to legal and ethical reasons: interpretability of the model is crucial more than ever.
The goal of this thesis is to explore the possibilities and the limits of techniques based on deep neural networks for the analysis of biomolecular data, experimenting with publicly available datasets.

We produce the first reliable Side-Slip angle Estimator
(SSE) algorithm ready to be integrated in any
embedded control loop.
This algorithm runs in Real-Time on a fraction of the
resources already available on the existing vehicle
electronic control units (15% CPU occupation on
Infineon TC1767) and uses exclusively the data already
available on the vehicle Can Bus.
We provide the SSE as a software (embeddable C) or
integrated in our Hardware solution for Performance
