There are many entities collecting data in Auroville
Resulting in a lack of standards
errors in data sets
duplication of effort
and an inefficient data system.
We propose to set up one office
that researches indicators for Auroville
in collaboration with Auroville entities
and computes statistics.
It will provide a dashboard
to help Auroville course correct
and be more efficient.
But, can we measure the immeasurable?
Maybe yes, if we start from ground up
We start with Food,
Economy,
and Education.
There are ways and ways of doing this
We can walk
~ 6 lakhs in Year 1
~ 10 lakhs in Year 2
we can run (& hitch hike!)
~ 9 lakhs in Year 1
~ 13 lakhs in Year 2
or get our own car.
~ 20 lakhs in Year 1
~ 21 lakhs in Year 2
Difference lies in time and money.
We are looking,
