This is a call for funding, for setting up the office and software infrastructure for a statistics office for Auroville, an international community in South India.

2. There are many entities collecting data in Auroville

3. Resulting in a lack of standards

4. errors in data sets

5. duplication of effort

6. and an inefficient data system.

7. We propose to set up one office

8. that researches indicators for Auroville

9. in collaboration with Auroville entities

10. and computes statistics.

11. It will provide a dashboard

12. to help Auroville course correct

13. and be more efficient.

14. But, can we measure the immeasurable?

15. Maybe yes, if we start from ground up

20. We can walk
