The focus group provided feedback on magazine design elements. For the front cover, they wanted to see a female artist looking happy with her clothing and makeup on display. Colors should be pinks and corals with black text. The contents page should feature 3 photos of artists with one larger photo of the cover artist. It should contain half text with article topics, page numbers and quotes. A double page spread should have one large poster sized photo with another small one and equal parts text and images for a chatty celebrity interview.
Since 1967, the Federation of Southern Co-operatives (FSC) has worked to increase incomes, support economic development, and assist in land retention, especially for African Americans but essentially for all family farmers in the Southern US. This presentation focuses on efforts to develop regional marketing and food distribution systems that can link co-operative communities in the South with those in other parts of the country through trade.

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

Generating a custom Ruby SDK for your web service or Rails API using Smithyg2nightmarescribd
Have you ever wanted a Ruby client API to communicate with your web service? Smithy is a protocol-agnostic language for defining services and SDKs. Smithy Ruby is an implementation of Smithy that generates a Ruby SDK using a Smithy model. In this talk, we will explore Smithy and Smithy Ruby to learn how to generate custom feature-rich SDKs that can communicate with any web service, such as a Rails JSON API.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

1. AUDIENCE RESEARCH – MY FOCUS GROUP RESULTS
For this research I asked 6 females who are within my age group. I asked a couple who are from
the younger end of my age group and a couple from the older end. This gave me a chance to see
whether they agree with what they want in a magazine, it also reassured me that I have got the
correct Target Audience for my magazine.
Section 1 THE FRONT COVER (QUESTIONS 1-4)
1. What would like to see on the front cover e.g. sell lines?
The target audience is females so the sell lines should appeal to us; we want to see artists that
are related to the genre but we also want to see extra stuff you can find in the magazine such as
fashion and makeup pages.
2. What images would you like to see?
There should be one main image taking up most of the front cover; the image should be a
female artist and we would like her to look happy and fun – looking pretty also but that
shouldn’t be the only thing people notice about her. The image needs to stand out so make sure
you can see some of her clothing so more colours are brought into the cover.
3. What colours would be appropriate?
There should be a plain background so that the concentration is on the main image. The text on
the cover should be mainly in black, however there could be some colour in the masthead and
other important information; perhaps pink colours, but not tacky (more coral for example). The
image should include most the colour, in her outfit and maybe even her makeup.
4. What type of language would you expect?
Chatty, informal language to appeal to the target audience, which includes teens mostly;
perhaps some slang or any language that the target audience can relate to.
SECTION 2 –THE CONTENTS PAGE (QUESTIONS 5-8)
5. What type of images would you like and how many?
There should be around 3 images on the contents page and they should be photos of artists that
will be found inside the magazine; mainly the artists that will have main articles written about
them. There should be one larger image of the main artist that was on the front cover, and then
the others should be smaller.
6. What would you want to be contained within the magazine?
We want to see articles including interviews, reviews, tour dates and music festivals. Main article
should be an interview with a new artist that is starting to become really famous; this would be a
good way for them to build there fame.
7. How much text would you expect?
On the contents page there should be about half text or maybe a bit over. It should have the
page numbers and articles you will find inside and then maybe some quotes to make the reader
want to read more. Underneath any images on the contents page, there should be the page
number you will find that image on.
2. 8. What type of language?
The same language that is used on the front cover should be carried on throughout the
magazine: Casual, informal, fun and positive.
SECTION 3- THE DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD ARTICLE (QUESTIONS 9-12)
9. What choice of images would you want?
There should be about two images on the double page spread. One of them should take up one
side of A4; this is because most of the target audience are at an age where they want to have
posters on their wall; they can cut it out and use it for that. Perhaps another image could be
used on the article side of the double page spread. This image should be small, maybe of the
artist performing.
10. What would you prefer the article to be about?
Interviews are the most interesting articles to read because it gives readers the chance to find
out a lot about celebrities and gives them a chance to relate to them, therefore the article
should be an interview. Maybe include some information on how they got to where they are
now so that the target audience can take that advice if they are interested in music.
11. How would you expect the language to be?
Once again, the language should be the same as on the contents page and front cover. The
interview should use chatty language so that it gives the celebrity a chance to chill out and prove
that they are just like everyone else.
12. Would you prefer more image or text based articles?
There should be about the same amount of text as image in the article. Not lots of pictures, just
a couple of bigger ones.
