What is Audience Profiling?
Companies need to know who their audience, or
potential costumer is before they can start
marketing and promoting their product.
Why it is so important to media producers?
Audience Profiling is important because it will help
with marketing. Also it can help to determine the
goal of product by determining whom the product
should be marketed to.
Demographics
Demographics is the study of a population based on factors such as age, race
and sex, among others.
Governments, corporations and non-government organizations use
demographics to learn more about a population’s characteristics for many
purposes, including policy development and economic market research.
Psychographics
Can be defined as a quantitative
methodology used to describe
consumers on psychological
attributes. Psychographics has been
applied to the study of personality,
values, opinions, attitudes, interests,
and lifestyles.
