Billboard is an American music magazine first published in
1894. It started specialising in the music industry in the
1950’s. It’s recognised for highlighting the talents of
many genres of music, such as pop and RnB. On the cover
of this particular magazine, there are signs of feminine
beauty through the course of soft purple and the
exploitation of her skin around her chest area, this
demonstrates the exploitation of women and the appeal
they have for their sexuality towards men and this may
persuade men and their needs and desires. However this
magazine cover may also appear attractive to women as
they desire to look good and inspire to be like the image.

Conclusions/Justification
Q is a popular music magazine published monthly in the United
Kingdom. Q was founded in 1986 by Mark Ellen and David
Hepworth. This particular magazine focuses on alternative
music. The imagery on this magazine, of the posture and
positioning of her hands and face represent a very pure image
of her as a musician within her genre of music. This may appeal
to many audiences of people such as young minds and they are
more likely to connect with her line of work, the use of the
generic colours show that this magazine is for both males and
females, through these colours combined with the pose of the
image it may appeal to men due to the image appearing more
sexually attractive but can also appeal to women who would
like to look attractive also.
