ATTITUDE- How will this magazine be
presentedtoits audience?
Peoples attitudes towards themagazinewill bea very
important aspect overall, if peoplefeel/relateto your
magazinein a good way this means your brand image
will improveand develop, also will be remembered. This
magazinewill bepresented in a very informal manner
so that it relates to the target market; this agegroup
will not want to read pages of writing. Features such
as photographs will appeal to them more. If the
magazinewas overly formal and covered in writing
my audiencewould start to become discouraged to
read on which will also affect theoverall brand image.
The magazineshould comeacross very bold and clear,
this is to emphasisethegenres of music that are
featured in themagazine. They are all bold and
outgoing music genres. Also people want to relate
and connect to the magazineand themusic thereforewill
usebright colours and bold likethemusic. Thebright
colours and font will also help the magazinestand out. I
will use a consistent colour themethroughout so that
when peoplesee thesecolours they can recognisethe
magazine. Consistency throughouta magazineadds to
brand image. I will use a large amount of pull quotes
throughout themagazine, to keep peoples attention.
The magazineshould givethem a feel of freedom in the
music world; music has its own rules. The layout will be
moreabstract to relateto themusic, things such as bold
and funky fonts depending on which genreof music is
being spoken about. Somepages will either be covered
with a number of images or just a singular imagewith no
text. Photographs will betaken for theaudience’s
perspectiveto allow thereader to get a real feel of what
it would be liketo actually bethere, makes it morereal.
Dividing thepages up with images and then articles
visually appears as thereis not much writing which will
not discouragemy audiencealso using columns in my
articles also split thetext up and it appears as though
there is not much text.
