This document summarizes projects using mobile learning and augmented reality to engage children with the Parthenon sculptures at the British Museum. Over 18 months and with input from over 250 children, two projects were developed: a worksheet ported to mobile devices and a game using augmented reality. Key learnings included that technology was exciting but problematic, children didn't like broken sculptures, augmented reality recognition was difficult, and testing helped refine wayfinding, instructions, and collaborative use. The goal was to celebrate Athens and deliver interactive content about the Pediment and Frieze sculptures in an engaging way for children.

How can museums employ new media to enhance their visitors' experience and their collections' accessibility? With the Internet moving into the public domain through wireless connections, broadband mobile telephony, and location-aware technology, museums are no longer bound by their physical limits (the building), but can use all relevant spaces, be it the city, the country or the public domain.
Technology enables audiences to access, produce, and share media everywhere and at all times, and museums are quite far on in digitizing large parts of their collections. The combination of 24-hour on-line audience availability and rich digitised cultural musem content brings ample opportunities to create new cultural experiences.
In this context, Waag Society recently developed a number of projects in which users are guided by mobile technology. The paper gives an overview of these projects and argues that the physical non-institutional environment is a great setting for appreciating cultural content and inducing active user participation.

Visitor-Centered: What Does it Mean to Walk that Talk?
Presented at the National Museum of Denmark to a mixed audience of Nationalmuseet curators, educators, and staff from other Danish museums. The presentation addresses responsiveness to visitor needs in developing interpretive components and gallery design. I followed the talk with a hands-on workshop in which participants wrote labels in new ways, observed visitors, and edited their galleries with visitor experience in mind. Part of a 2-day symposium organized by Mette Boritz of the National Museum.
Play to learn, learn to play: Short term exchanges of groups of pupils in Poland
A group of 16 pupils and 10 accompanying persons from Lithuania traveled to Ruda, Poland from May 6-10, 2019 for an ERASMUS+ exchange project called "Play to Learn, Learn to Play". The objectives of the exchange were to present and learn about traditional toys from different cultures, learn the history of toys, create toys from everyday materials, and design puppet shows. Activities included presentations on toys from various countries, workshops at museums on dolls and traditional toys, crafting toys from natural materials on a farm, and visiting cultural and historic sites in Poland. The participants gained knowledge of different toys and cultures and improved their social, creative, and language skills through interactive workshops and performances.

Catherine Georgopoulou describes her experience with an eTwinning project called "Journey Through Time". The project involved students from 9 European countries following the journey of two characters, Etwin and Ning, as they discovered historical sites across Europe. Through activities like creating presentations, a virtual museum, e-book, maps, puzzles and games, students learned about the history and culture of different countries while improving their communication skills. The project promoted multicultural understanding and gave students experience with innovative teaching methods using digital tools. Teachers and students from various countries collaborated to create shared educational resources and tell a common story.
Webinar 2: Cultural Storytelling: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Part of MuseWeb Foundation's series about cultural storytelling, this presentation was given to a group of teachers who were recruiting students to collect local community oral histories, with the ultimate goal of producing audio and video projects. This "Youth Access Grant" project is sponsored by the Smithsonian's Museum on Main Street program. Museum on Main Street sends Smithsonian traveling exhibitions into small towns across the nation.

It requires facilitators, phones that can run the AR app, markers, and content on death designed for children.

these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
