This document summarizes a study that analyzes the seismic performance of a 15-story building with different lateral load resisting systems (bare frame, braced frame, shear wall frame) using the response spectrum method. Models of the building are created in STAADPro and analyzed considering loads like dead, live, and earthquake loads. Results like base shear, story drift, and deflections are presented to determine the most effective lateral system. Braced frames with bracing in different locations and shear walls in various positions are analyzed and their behavior under seismic loads is compared.
