This document provides information about analyzing learners in a kindergarten classroom for a science lesson on balls and ramps. There are 25 students between ages 5-6 with a variety of abilities, languages, and socioeconomic backgrounds. The lesson objectives are for students to understand what makes something a ball, predict how balls will move down ramps, use non-standard measurement, and identify fair versus unfair tests. Students will participate in an experiment rolling different balls down ramps and recording their observations. Their participation and completed observation sheets will be used to evaluate their learning.
