This document provides information about a US History course. It will cover colonization to present day using class discussions, lectures, and projects. It is a year-long course required for graduation, with the End of Course test counting as 20% of the final grade. The course will use the American Vision textbook and the ItsLearning platform daily. The teacher has 5 years experience and expects students to be respectful, complete assignments on time, and have opportunities to reassess failing grades.

3. Year long course- starting from

Mixture of class discussions, lectures, and
projects
It is required for graduation, therefore it is
an EOC course.
EOC will count 20% of final grade.
• 1st semester- 40%, 2nd semester- 40% and EOC-
20% = Final Grade

4.  American Vision, 2011
 All students should come to class prepared
and ready to learn.
 Be respectful at all times
 Complete all assignments on time
• Late work policy- can make up any work as long as we
are still in the same unit, for a lesser grade
 Re-teach/Re-assess
• Student has the opportunity to make up a failing grade
on a summative assignment, with max score of 70.
