as suggests that he is independent.This also
adds to the secrecy of the character and
could suggest that he is hiding something.

• This is another stereotypical part of a
morning routine and allows for him to
seem almost too stereotypical in his ways,
hinting to the audience that he is almost
acting.
Getting up early
• This not only adds to the stereotype of a
young adult but is also stereotypical of
vampires, as suggests that he is getting up
before the sun.

  • 2. Young-Adult • Represented stereotypically through him: • Wearing a dressing-gown, pyjamas etc. • Owning his own house • Reading the newspaper • Getting up early
  • 3. Wearing night-ware • Wearing night-ware is stereotypical of a young adult and makes the protagonist seem normal.
  • 4. Owning his own house • This, again, is stereotypical of a young adult as suggests that he is independent.This also adds to the secrecy of the character and could suggest that he is hiding something.
  • 5. Reading the newspaper • This is another stereotypical part of a morning routine and allows for him to seem almost too stereotypical in his ways, hinting to the audience that he is almost acting.
  • 6. Getting up early • This not only adds to the stereotype of a young adult but is also stereotypical of vampires, as suggests that he is getting up before the sun.
