In this paper I examine the context for the internationalization of firm MC Donald’s in the
Fast food industry. I firstly gave the introduction to the Mc Donald’s and then examine the
degree of globalization of the fast food industry. After that I studied that how the global
scope for the fast food a changed over a period of time with the help of the cage framework.
Then I discussed about the competitive advantage that Mc Donald’s receives from its
operations all over the world by the use of different framework and analysis. Lastly I
included the AAA Framework measures taken by Mc Donald’s to sustain in this competitive
market.

Logistics & supply chain management in IndiaRajat_upmanyu
India is the fourth biggest nation regarding Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) and establishes
one of the quickest developing business sectors on the planet. Globalization of organizations,
infrastructural bottlenecks, expanding risk on Supply chain organizations, shortening of
product life cycles and multiplication of product assortment have constrained Indian firms to
look past their four walls. They face issues identified with picking and working with the
correct supply chain partner (providers, clients and logistic service organizations),
encouraging trust among them and planning the correct arrangement of checking execution.
In this report, I’ll present a depiction image of logistics and Supply Chain Management
(SCM) rehearses in India. It is a result of the felt need by directors, Professional experts and
academicians to address logistics and supply chain rehearses at the public level.

India pulled out of the arranged Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) in 2018
subsequent to entering Discussions in 2013. India has an import/export imbalance with 11 out of
the 15 RCEP nations and a few researchers have reviewed that India chose to quit the
arrangement in light of such unfriendly exchange balance. For sure, India has an import/export
imbalance with the majority of its exchange partners in past free trade agreements (FTAs). It is
in this setting that this brief looks at India's import/export imbalance with two of the top
exchanging partners inside RCEP with whom India has a current economic alliance — i.e., Japan
and South Korea, and focuses to what India must help to tilt the exchange balance to earn
benefit. It also likewise investigates India's exchange relations with Australia, with which the
nation is arranging a FTA. It features what India must do in future FTA arrangements to
diminish import/export imbalances and benefit from such negotiations.

Maruti Suzuki World
Cars are what Maruti Suzuki builds. Experiences are what it creates.
Experiences fuelled by innovations, forward thinking, and a commitment to bring the very best to Indian roads. From the day the iconic Maruti 800 was launched in 1983, the company has been spearheading a revolution of change. Turning an entire country’s need for driving, into its love for driving.
However, tastes and demands keep on evolving with each new generation of Indians. This has not been looked at by Maruti Suzuki as a challenge, but as an inspiration to go beyond traditional boundaries of car-making. Infusing design and technology is one such step it has taken to make its cars meet new age expectations smoothly.
Today, Maruti Suzuki has its eyes set firmly on the possibilities of tomorrow. And everybody is invited on this journey.
Meetings can be time suckers, and if nothing gets accomplished during them, frustration may ensue. Not only does a company waste valuable time and money conducting business meetings that don't produce results but employees will begin to loathe attending these functions.

Important words for banking terminologyRajat_upmanyu
A bank is a financial institution that accepts deposits from the public and creates credit.Lending activities can be performed either directly or indirectly through capital markets. Due to their importance in the financial stability of a country, banks are highly regulated in most countries. Most nations have institutionalized a system known as fractional reserve banking under which banks hold liquid assets equal to only a portion of their current liabilities. In addition to other regulations intended to ensure liquidity, banks are generally subject to minimum capital requirements based on an international set of capital standards, known as the Basel Accords.
Banking in its modern sense evolved in the 14th century in the prosperous cities of Renaissance Italy but in many ways was a continuation of ideas and concepts of credit and lending that had their roots in the ancient world. In the history of banking, a number of banking dynasties – notably, the Medicis, the Fuggers, the Welsers, the Berenbergs, and the Rothschilds – have played a central role over many centuries. The oldest existing retail bank is Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, while the oldest existing merchant bank is Berenberg Bank.
What is Research? Different Type Of Research.Rajat_upmanyu
Research comprises "creative and systematic work undertaken to increase the stock of knowledge, including knowledge of humans, culture and society, and the use of this stock of knowledge to devise new applications."[1] It is used to establish or confirm facts, reaffirm the results of previous work, solve new or existing problems, support theorems, or develop new theories. A research project may also be an expansion on past work in the field. Research projects can be used to develop further knowledge on a topic, or in the example of a school research project, they can be used to further a student's research prowess to prepare them for future jobs or reports. To test the validity of instruments, procedures, or experiments, research may replicate elements of prior projects or the project as a whole. The primary purposes of basic research (as opposed to applied research) are documentation, discovery, interpretation, or the research and development (R&D) of methods and systems for the advancement of human knowledge. Approaches to research depend on epistemologies, which vary considerably both within and between humanities and sciences. There are several forms of research: scientific, humanities, artistic, economic, social, business, marketing, practitioner research, life, technological, etc.

Types of Authorities[edit]
The types of political authority were first defined by Max Weber in his essay "Politics as a Vocation" and his other writings in 1919-1920. In this essay he emphasized that the political authority that controlled the state can be composed of the following types of authority, or what is called in German as Herrschaft.[3]
Traditional Authority: Power legitimized by respect for long-established cultural patterns.
Charismatic Authority: Power legitimized by extraordinary personal abilities that inspire devotion and obedience.
Rational-Legal Authority: Also known as bureaucratic authority, is when power is legitimized by legally enacted rules and regulations such as governments.
What is a 'Distribution Channel'
A distribution channel is a chain of businesses or intermediaries through which a good or service passes until it reaches the end consumer. It can include wholesalers, retailers, distributors and even the internet itself. Channels are broken into direct and indirect forms, with a "direct" channel allowing the consumer to buy the good from the manufacturer, and an "indirect" channel allowing the consumer to buy the good from a wholesaler or retailer.
BREAKING DOWN 'Distribution Channel'
A distribution channel is the path by which all goods and services must travel to arrive at the intended consumer. Conversely, it is also used to describe the pathway that payments make from the end consumer to the original vendor. Distribution channels can be short or long, and depend on the amount of intermediaries required to deliver a product or service.
However, goods and services are sometimes passed to consumers through multiple channels, a combination of short and long. While increasing the number of ways in which a consumer can find a good can increase sales, it can also create a complex system that sometimes makes distribution management difficult. In addition, the longer the distribution channel, the less profit a manufacturer might get from a sale due to the fact each intermediary charges for its service.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Questions to be interviewed:
Q.1) what do you think about the Home delivery system in India? Is it efficient & Effective?
Q.2) what about your house does the member depends upon the home delivery or prefer to go
out and buy essentials themselves?
Q.3) what about if things you prefer are being deliver to your door step?
Q.4) what are the store you frequently visits? Do you feel enlighten if these store come to
your house?
Q.5) what you know about the drone delivery? Can it replace the old ways of delivering
goods?
Q.6) ‘I am thinking to start a drone delivery business’. What you think will it succeed?
Q.7) what if I ask you to fund my business as a customer? What would be your answer?
Q.8) what do you think can a lazy nature of a human being help to succeed in my business?
My Analysis after performing these interviews:
I have took 20 customers from which few were know by me and rest were the unknown to
me. Customers which were known to me I found the from between my colleagues, friend,
society & relatives. On the other hand there was a high proportion of the customers which
were unknown to me & I found them randomly at different public places such as Parks,
medical shop, General stores & shopping bazar. Since my very first question was about
effectiveness and efficiency of the home delivery services in India, almost 19 out of these
customers responded negatively about the services most of them even started complaining
about the services so from my very first answer which I received from the sample of 20
customers I interpreted that there is a huge problem with the current delivery model in India
which I think it may act as an opportunity for me. The second question was about the
personnel preference of the customers that what they preferred to live at home and ask for
delivery or personal visit at this question 11 people prefer to ask for delivery and 9 have
2. chosen to visit personally to the market stating the reason that home delivery goods are not as
per the quality. From this question I interpreted that people also need a trusted delivery
service for quality conscious items which has to be kept in the mind while commercializing
the business. Third question was focused upon the convenience of the customers that would
they want the necessities to be delivered at their door step. Again 19 customers out of 20
replied positively to the question that ‘Yes’ they want. Even few of them quoted ‘Why not a
person wouldn’t’. So by these answers I concluded that almost 80-90% of the people want
convenience at a part of their Hectic and busy life. Now as I also have to look upon the
business idea so from Q.4. I started asking business oriented questions. However, the fourth
question was about the stores which are frequent visited by the customers & what about if
these store come to their door step. At this question 16 from 20 said that “yes!! I’ll be
enlighten to have the store on my door steps which I frequency visit to buy my items”. All
these customer told be about the stores they frequently visits which were medical, shopping
store, general store, Restaurants, CD & DVD stores, etc. from which I interpreted that people
are interested in the things to be delivered at their door step which they are least interested to
carry along with them. My fifth question was directed toward my business idea that how
many of them knows about the drone delivery. It was very few customers who were knowing
the concept of drone delivery and to my continued question few of them answered that “yes!
Drone delivery can replace the old method of delivery”, again few answered “No!” & and
rest answered that “it will depend upon the nature of the items which are to be delivered”.
Seeing to these replies I understood that drone delivery may face the problem of delivering
the heavy items. The sixth question were about letting these customers aware about my
business idea and asking them about it success. 15 in 20 responded that the success of the
venture will totally depend upon my management abilities and other different factors. And
other 5 in 20 straight away said no to me but saying that India isn’t ready for this business yet
from this I concluded that I must be able to create an excellent team for accomplishing the
business idea. Seventh question was about asking for the fund from the customers since most
of them which were unknown to me asked for the proof and decline the offer rest which were
known to me said that they will fund my business if seems like it is succeeding. Last
Question which I asked to my customers was about the lazy nature of a human being can it
make me succeed further on which almost 18 out of 20 said “yes!! It can.” from which I
interpreted that I must target a higher end society and the teenagers.
