The Production Process
The Production Process Four subsidiaries: Drama Department Magazine Department  Editing Department Up-link Department
The magazine department The most important department Responsible for 16 hours of transmission daily Consists of a ‘Head of the Department’ and five ‘film’ directors as his/her subordinates
Pre-Production Production Post-Production Stages
Pre-production Process starts when a proposal is sent to the HOD and the HOD forwards it to the COO Production. After approval from the COO, a budget is made, which includes ALL the costs associated with the making of the show. The budget is then transferred to the Planning Department as well as HOD for their respective approval
Once the budget is approved, the director engages in holding auditions for the desired host- TALENT After choosing the talent, the director will than decide upon the day of shooting and fill out the ‘ENG’ form for the cameras and equipment, which is sent to the planning as well as ‘ENG’ department respectively Another form is sent to the Set Department and the Transportation Department
Production  The production involves all the technicalities of the shooting procedures If the shoot is not initiated on time then the director has to write in and inform the planning department to make them aware of the reasons for the delay in shoot. This is another fine example of feedback control deployed and sustained at ARY digital networks.
Post Production The post production revolves around ever evolving roles of the editing department, which edits the show and prepares it in the final state. The completed show is sent to the Up-link department for airing. Finally the show is aired and a feedback is received to ARY that how many people are tuned into the channel at the time.

Recommendations  A massive overhaul in the respective mediums is required. Implementation of SAP ERP program to make its management and communication cycles more efficient. Politics Should be controlled. Formal training and workshops regarding basic IT skills  Employees should be taught English writing and speaking skills. A system of flexible two way communication should be implemented for proper feedback.
