This document summarizes the industrial training placement of K.G.I Udayakantha at Siam City Cement (Lanka) Limited. The training took place over 24 weeks, with 20 weeks spent at the Aruwakkalu Quarry learning about quarry planning, operation, and maintenance. Some of the experiences included relocation planning, exploration drilling, overburden removal, blasting, and machine maintenance. An additional 4 weeks were spent at the Puttalam cement plant learning about limestone railway transport and the cement production process.
