It can be calculated using the formula: Average velocity = Displacement / Time. In the example, a girl travels 8 km in 15 minutes (0.25 hours) to get to school, so her average velocity is 32 km/h. Acceleration is the change in velocity over a time interval and is calculated as: Acceleration = Change in Velocity / Time Interval. It is a measure of how quickly an object's velocity changes. Both speed and direction must change for an object to be accelerating.

Mangroves are woody plants that grow in coastal saline waters and muddy soils between land and sea in tropical and subtropical regions. They have complex root systems adapted for survival in wet, oxygen-poor conditions. A Strategic Approach: GenAI in Education
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. - 2. It is said that the Tang Dynasty poets were the first to introduce the combination of painting and poetry into one artwork. Three perfections is the collaboration of poets, calligraphers, and painters to create a painting that includes the work of a calligrapher to write a “soundless poem”. A soundless poem describes how one might experience a painting with sound, sight, smell, touch, and emotions. Chinese landscape painting is also known as shan shui or mountain water painting. Artists use monochromatic colors and sparse strokes. Its purpose is to grasp an emotion like catching nature’s rhythm. The theme of the paintings are flowers and birds, landscape, palace and temples, human figures, animals, bamboos, and stones.
- 3. Chinese painting considered the three concepts in their art: heaven, earth, and humankind (yin-yang).
- 4. Chinese calligraphy as well as painting was done on silk which was replaced by paper in the first century. Works by famous calligraphers are mounted on scrolls and hung on walls like paintings. Materials used for calligraphy are the following: a. Brush pen – made of animal hair b. Black inks – made from pine soot and animal resin
- 6. 1. Small Seal Style – lines are all of an even thickness and the characters are elongated to fit neatly into a vertical rectangle.
- 7. 2. Clerical Style – style used on official documents such as government records of taxes, census records, and deeds.
- 8. 3. Regular Style – preserves the clerical script’s precision and modulation of line width but is less formal and heavy in appearance.
- 9. 4. Running Style – strokes and dots that are written separately in the regular style are joined together in a single sweep of the brush, thus producing a feeling of speed and fluency.
