and optimizing complex structure systems require huge amounts of computing
resources, and artificial intelligence based solutions can often provide valuable
alternatives for efficiently solving problems in civil engineering. This seminar
summarizes recently developed methods and theories in the developing direction for
applications of artificial intelligence in civil engineering. The field of artificial
intelligence, or AI, attempts to understand intelligent entities as well as construct
them to make the operation reasonably simple and easy, correct and precise.
Artificial neural networks are typical examples of a modern interdisciplinary
subject. Sophisticated modeling technique that can be used for solving many
complex problems serves as an analytical tool for qualified prognoses of the results.
Using the concept of the artificial neural networks and the results of the performed
numerical analyses make the field of civil engineering more accurate, precise and
efficient especially in the fields of smart materials and many more.
The future of AI is booming in the construction industry so that when collaborated with BIM Modeling Services, it can provide model inputs detail to the clients. It can also address the problem of safety and inefficiencies. It will increase the enhancement of data-gathering information and provides a virtual tour of the model being constructed. A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.

Artificial Intelligence will change Civil Engineering and every
designing field drastically, the designing techniques and methods
that we know today today will no longer be in use in few decades,
Artificial intelligence technology will change with each passing day,
so it’s possibilities and it has unimaginable potential in every field,
and in civil engineering field will have a broad prospect. Artificial
intelligence can help inexperienced users solve engineering
problems, can also help experienced users to improve the work
efficiency, and in the team through the artificial intelligence
