1. Question- Hello Mia. It’s great to meet you and interview you today! The
first question I have is, what is it like to be a part of the music industry in
today’s society?
Answer- Hey! It’s so good to be here, thank you! I would have to say it’s the most
exciting and overwhelming thing ever. I have always wanted to be in the music
industry since I was a young girl and although I still have a lot of work to do, I’m
just taking it at my own pace and enjoying every moment.
2. Question- What or who inspired you the most that kinda made you 100%
certain of being this popular singer you are becoming?
Answer- Like I have mentioned, I have always been interested in being a singer
since a young age, probably like most people say, but it’s true. I was and still am
obsessed with British indie bands and Britpop like Oasis. I think the whole idea
of being in this industry really intrigued me and artists and bands like Oasis and
the Stone Roses really did help to influence me.
3. Question- Do you find it hard doing what you are doing within the
industry?
Answer- Yes at times, most times I do find it hard. As any musician would know,
it’s a hard job, but isn’t every job? If you are really determined, it only gets easier,
once you become settled.
4. Question- As everyone knows, being a music artist, there will be low and
high points for everyone. What parts do you enjoy most and what parts are
the most difficult?
Answer- My favourite part about pursuing music is meeting so many different
people! I have the opportunity on an almost daily basis on tour to be part of
different subcultures, explore new cities and just learn about people and places. I
would have to say the hardest part of it all is spending so much time on tour or
just away from my family and friends, but other than that, it is very rewarding.
5. Question- What are typical mistakes people make when trying to pursue
this career?
Answer- People compare, I feel like more artists need to spend less time looking
at what others are doing, stop acting like it’s a competition, and also just be
prepared for a rough time, so many artists give up too fast or believe that the
industry is too hard for them.

Answer- It’s simple really, you produce your own music and you do it for your

you. I would like to think I know how to reach my fans and produce music that
they can just simply enjoy and almost escape from really.
7. Question-How do you get people to take you seriously as a musician?
Answer-I never treat my music as a hobby. I think that people will only take you
as seriously as you take yourself. I treat music like it is important and so do
others.
8. Question-What is it like working with other music artists that are already
well known in the industry?
Answer-It’s amazing! Is all I can say, it’s simply amazing. You learn so much and
you become even more inspired. It’s great!
9. Question-I assume that a lot of the time you spend working on your music,
however how dedicated do you believe you have to be?
Answer-Truly dedicated, as I have said, you have to take this as you would any
other job. It’s important to you and you have a duty to produce this music for
your fans. Very dedicated!
10.Question-Lastly, what personal advice would you give to someone willing
to pursue this career?
Answer-Get out there first and get a job and work to build your fan base at the
same time. Don’t believe you can go into music with nothing and end up with
everything, it doesn’t happen like that. Work at it, have fun and stay determined
and you will end up with what you want, in the end.
