Jack Loach is back and gives FRESHEST an insight into his life, how its changed him and why it will never be the
same

Jack loach is back from a year off from the music industry, he said he needed more time for personal
                                                                    th
development. Now he is back and better than ever. On July the 10 he is coming to UK for the summer festival
in Birmingham to perform some of his songs from he’s new album. ‘Dreams&Happiness’, this is out in stores
on the 1st of July 2013. Also performing at the Birmingham festival the queen on hip-hop Nicki-Minaj with
A$AP Rocky and many other famous artists.

Why did you take the year off from releasing any new songs?

It was a really hard decision for me to make. But me and my manager sat down weeks before I announced that
I will be away for a year. We discussed why but we both agreed and thought it was for the best. I needed to
get away from personal problems and for personal development of my music career so I decided to leave the
country and go on a holiday. So while I was away I did make music, and improved my ability on the
microphone. I also improved mentally. Having this break has benefited me in many ways. The new music I
have made will be on the album ‘ Dreams&Happiness’. This album means a lot to me I named it after the last
few words my father said to me. So my come back to the music industry is a lot more meaningful and
hopefully will be a success.

Now that you’re back from ‘the break’ what do you think 2013 has in store for you?

Well hopefully I will be coming to the UK to see my loving fans, and I will be on tour after the Birmingham
festival. I am also releasing a few albums through out the year. I will be making songs with well known artists
of the hip-hop industry. All in all I hope that this year is a success and that money well spent is money well
earned. I will be making songs based on how my life has planned out to be this way. I believe that music is the
way people should express their emotions.

How has your life changed from before being in the industry to now being in the industry?

Of course as a kid it was my dream to become famous, every other artist will tell you the same. When you are
young all you think of is being famous. My life before being signed was the same for almost every other child
across the world. I went to school and had fun without caring about anything I just wanted fun. But as you
grow older you become more mature and more involved with the tasks set in life. I realised that after my
father passed. I just wanted to overcome the challenges that life had set me. That is when I started making
music and expressing myself and eventually i got spotted for my talent and Def Jam Recordings wanted me. It
helped me a lot financially and this ensured I had a better standard of living. I am very happy that I have made
it this far and i haven’t given up. I have a lot more in store for all my fans

When was the first time you noticed your passion for music and how did it become a hobby to you?

it all started at a young age of 8, I used to sing and rap in small events we had in school, and I always had love
for music. My mother told me when ever we where out at a friends party or some sort I was the only child
singing and dancing to the music in front of everybody. Then when I went into high school my education over
took any chances of me having a career in the music industry. But sadly my father passed in 2009 and before
he died due to his health, he told me to follow my dreams and live a life of happiness . So I realised that
making music was the reason for my excitement and it was my life long dream. My father dying made me
realise that the passion I now have for music was always in me. It just needed to be triggered. Ever since its
been something I have to do everyday. Make music, listen to music and when I do I remember my Dad.
