4. Procrastination Is Natural Essay
Is procrastination natural? Procrastination cannot be considered natural, because natural can be
define as something that people have become use to doing in their everyday live. In his recent Ted
Talk, Inside the Mind of a Master Procrastinator, Tim Urban, states that everybody is a
procrastinator, and honestly, I disagree with his idea. Not everybody is a procrastinator.
In the article, What we finally got around to learning at procrastination research conference , by
Heather Murphy, she states that at least one out five people are procrastinators. (Murphy, 2017) In
making this comment, Murphy (2017) argues his audience to believe that not everyone can be
considered to be a procrastinator. Now considering that one out five people are procrastinators in
their live, can there be any side effects to procrastination? Been a procrastinator can have side
effects, for example anxiety, stress, and tension. Personally, I believe that students go more
through this side effects because they are always being bombarded with due dates before the
semester has even started. As reported by, Erin Ben Moche from the Chicago Tribune
newspaper, Teens report that their stress level during the school year far exceeds what they
believe to be healthy (5.8 versus 3.9 on a 10 point scale) and tops adults average reported stress
levels (5.8 for teens versus 5.1 for adults) (Erin Ben Moche, 2017, par.3) In other words, Erin
believes that teen students stress more than adults because of school. As a student, I personally
haven t dealt with this kind of high stress, but in the other hand, I met teenagers who have dealt
with this kind of stress during mid terms
In the Ted Talk by Tim Urban, he touches the topic of anxiety and stress. He goes on by saying
that guilt, dread, anxiety, and self hatred can be a dark playground when people are doing last
minute paperwork or assignments. (Urban, 2016) Like I stated in the beginning of my essay,
procrastination is not something that everyone does, procrastination is more like a decision
someone decides to take when they are been lazy. According to Adam Grant s article, Why I
thought myself to procrastinate, For years, I believed that anything worth doing was worth doing
early. In

Scientific Revolution
The Scientific Revolution refers to a time in history when developments in the sciences took off and
changed the view of society regarding the earth and nature. Some of the relevant topics of this time
were mathematics, astronomy, biology, physics and chemistry. Typically, the scientific revolutionis
considered the time in Europe starting around the end of the Renaissance period and lasting through
the late 18th century. Between 1543 and 1700, Europe underwent many changes that forever
changed the thoughts and beliefs of society as a result of the scientific revolution. During this time,
the creation of many inventions came about and the studies of many people changed the culture of

Harvey is given credit for being the first to accurately describe the entire circuit, including arteries
and veins, of where the blood starts in the circulation process and where it ends as a result of heart
contractions. In the publication submitted by Copernicus, he established a model of the universe
that depicted the Sun and not the Earth at the center of the universe. He described the Earth
revolving around the sun which was in contrast to earlier thinking that suggested the sun revolved
around the Earth (heliocentric theory). This revelation of thought started a change in the way the
world was viewed. Maybe the Earth was not the center of everything and maybe there was more out
there that could be learned in order to scientifically understand the world (Scientific revolution).
Johannes Kepler followed in the footsteps of Copernicus. He too believed that the sun was the
center of the universe. Kepler was a religious man and did not want to speak against his religious
beliefs. He therefore took a different approach. He studied the heavens in order to better
understand how God put the planets in motion around the sun. He is best known for his
formulation of the Laws of planetary Motion. The Laws of planetary Motion consisted of three
parts. The first part was the belief that the planets moved in elliptical orbits. The second part was
the equal area law which

6. Causes Of Agricultural Growth In Bangladesh
The Reasons for Decreasing of Agricultural Growth in Bangladesh
Abstract
Bangladesh is an agriculture based developing country in the world. It has many agricultural
products which help to develop economy. Such as, Jute is one of the most important exporting
goods which are agricultural product and Bangladesh earns a lot of foreign currency from this

dependent on agriculture sector for development. This agriculture sector has huge contribution to

now days, this rate is decreasing constantly specially from the fiscal year 2005 2006. Though the

There have some types of causes such as manmade causes, natural causes and technological causes
which are helping to reduce this agricultural growth rate. It is positive sign that the government of
Bangladesh take some initiative like subsidize the farmers and other thighs to boost this rate.

regarding his son. He explained that Darnell social interaction was none existent, he did not play
with other children or even his sister. Darnell preferred playing alone in a corner and had
become fixated on one specific toy. When he would play, he focused primarily on one toy even
though he had a toy chest filled with other toys. 2. Diagnosis Darnell showed early signs of
unusual behaviors that were a cause for concern from his father had. At 18 months Darnell
avoided making eye contact with both his parents coupled with not responding to his name when

8. Christians Found Real Truth
Have Christians found real truth?
Pilate said to him, What is truth? The truth is the most glorious thing. It has existed since the
beginning of creation; it is esteemed more precious than silver or gold. Many people have tried to
embrace truth, others have searched for it all their lives, but just a few have found it. Truth is
everlasting, but humans through history have distorted it into different kinds of definitions. For
Pilate, truth was the foundation in the use of his senses, in his reasoning, and the observation of
facts. Through the years the Christians have modified their concept of truth in a new type of
Atheism, where the mind is strength and is just willing to trust all that is reasonable.

9. Word Choice In A Good Man Is Hard To Find
Jake Pritzlaff
Mr. Christensen
RH 102.7
4 April 2016
A Good Man is Hard to Find Race is figured in A Good Man is Hard to Find through social status,
relationships, and word choice. A Good Man is Hard to Find by Flannery O Connor describing a
family vacation to Florida, but the grandmother, the family leader, expresses her concerns about
vacationing in Florida because the Misfit is on the loose. On one of the back roads the
grandmother s cat escapes causing the car to crash into a ditch where the family is confronted by
the Misfit. During this time the grandmother tries to talk to the Misfit, but in the end the Misfit and
his boys murder the entire family. The family s social status reflects the cultural traits of the 1950 s.

Based off of the selection of word choice you can understand that this story was taking place in
the south. The first way you can see that the story takes place in the south is by this quote You
all ought to take them somewhere else for a change so they would see different parts of the
world and be broad (O Connor). The grandmother s use of the word ought should give you an
idea that she is southern because if this story took place up north she would have said something
like you should . This quote also shows you that this family is a part of southern culture because
the grandmother says be broad . This is implying that the family does not live in a large city and
that they may live in a secluded area where it is hard for them to be broad . Word choice is also
exemplified in the quote Little niggers in the country don t have things like we do . The family s
choice of words when they are talking about the African Americanrace shows they are from the
south based off of the stereotypes of the south considering slavery was more present in the south
than it was in the north. The way the word nigger is used by the family also implies that the
family in the short story is white. The analyzation of word choice in this short story helps identify
the cultural background of the family. The short story A Good Man is Hard to Findby Flannery

12. Standing In Ignorance-Kneeling In Disrespect
Standing in Ignorance Kneeling in Disrespect Why is that humans, armed with a brain capable
of speaking multiple languages, seem to fail at communication at a fundamental level?
Recently, some people have criticised NFL players for kneeling during the playing of the
national anthem. Others claim that those accusing NFL players of disrespecting a nation
symbol are themselves disrespecting those players right to free speech. While both sides seem
passionate about their respective argument, it appears as though both sides are failing at making
the situation better for anyone. Rather than making the situation better for everyone, both sides
are increasing the divide that separates them. Even children understand that if you want to have
lots of friends you need to play nice. Clearly NFL player s are protected by the constitution, but
are they really getting their point across by angering those whom they wish to deliver their
message to? Anyone has the right to be upset or offended by the acts of NFL players, but are
these critics going to change anyone s mind by lashing out and getting angry? It is clear that if
either side wants to gain any ground in their respective argument, both sides must work together to
achieve their goals. NFL players have made clear that kneeling for the Star Spangled Banner is a
way to create awareness for the various issues they see throughout the country, but is this the best

15. Advantages And Disadvantages Of Materials
2.2 Advantages and disadvantages these materials
There are several advantages and disadvantages of the materials that have been discussed above.
Natural fibers normally are renewable resource so that their cost is relatively low as compared with
other synthetic fibers. With the consideration of environmental consciousness, natural fibers are
biodegradable so as they can alleviate the problem of massive solid wastes produced and relief
the pressure of landfills if they are used for replacing other non degradable materials for product
development. Besides, according to their inherent properties, natural fibers are flexible for
processing due to their less susceptible to machine tool damage and health hazards during the
manufacturing and etc. Moreover, natural fibers possess many advantages characteristics such as
desirable fiber aspect ratio, low density and relatively high tensile and flexural moduli [11].
These are attractive to us because they are low density, biodegradable, recyclable, carbon dioxide
neutral, non abrasive, low cost and widely available products, although they also have some
properties that restrict their application in aircraft, said Airbus Research Technology (R T) senior
vice president, Axel Krein [11].... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

considered the birth of public photographyis because of the processing. Using a similar image

Brownie used a six exposure cartridge that Kodak processed for the photographer. (Kodak.com, n.d.)

(Bellis, 2009) Nevertheless, the main selling point of digital cameras was the convenient way
that they could be stored. Every exposure is almost instantly saved to a removable disk drive,
which remarkably expired the use of darkroom processing. It was convenient, less time was
needed to produce an image, making it particularly appealing to journalism. The photograph has
since then become an instant process. Combined with the invention of the Internet, and booming
industry of personal computers, the newer technology would expire its predecessor. There are

21. Osteoporosis Is A Health Problem
Definition
Osteoporosis is a health problem which is on the rise and is affecting primarily women (Nichols,
Pavlovic, 2003, p. 447). Osteoporosis is characterized as a disease of the bones whereas the bones
becomes weak and very fragile. Many people with this disease often break bones within the hip,
spine, and wrist. The bones are easily broken from a minor fall or, in severe cases, from a simple
sneeze. The meaning of osteoporosis is porous bone. When looking at a healthy bone under a
microscope, you will find the resemblance of a honeycomb. Far as osteoporosis, those holes and
spaces in a honeycomb are much larger than a healthy bone (National Osteoporosis Foundation).
Magnitude of Problem
Within America, osteoporosis presently affects approximately 10 million people and is
responsible for more than 1.5 million fractures annually (Societal Burden of Osteoporosis).
About 54 million Americans have osteoporosis and low bone mass which makes them at high
risk for the disease (NOF). This disease holds a substantial financial burden with annual direct
cost ranging from 17 to 20 billion dollars. Because of the consistent growth in age among the
population, the prevalence and number of osteoporosis fractures will continue to increase (SBO).
Worldwide, osteoporosis has an estimated total of affecting 200 million women, one tenth of
women aged 60, one fifth of women aged 70, two fifths of women aged 80, and two thirds of
women aged 90. Across the areas of Europe, United States,

22. Racial Discrimination Against Minorities And Immigrants
Since the start of American history, immigrants came here and brought their traditions and cultures
with them. The United States is a country of immigrants. It is a place where people from all over
the world come to build a better life. Some immigrants bring their families. Others come alone with
nothing but determination. Racial discrimination against minorities and immigrants is an
underlying problem here in America today. Racismis seen in our daily lives when people are
discriminated against because of their raceand ethnicity. Racism attacks the right to a person s well
being on the basis of something they have no control over. They cannot change nor should want to
change who they are. Racial discrimination is not as bad as it was fifty years ago, but it still a
problem here in our country today. Our country has advanced tremendously as far as modernization
and technology, but has not improved on the way we treat minorities and immigrants. From African
Americans, Asians, Hispanics, and Arabs there is a form of discrimination against these group of
minorities.
On social media there was a trending hashtag, #BlackLivesMatter, when the riots in Ferguson began

student who commits suicide by jumping from her dormitory window. This poem is read as the
suicide note that was left behind by this young woman to apologize to her parent s for having
received less than a perfect four point grade average and not being perfect in life. Her last
thoughts and feelings were left on this note, describing why she did what she did. The pressure
to succeed that this student felt from herself and her parents was far too much to overcome.
Even though the girl worked really hard and did her very best, it wasn t good enough in her mind
and maybe in her parents minds to be worthy of her parents love or life itself and so her only
option was death to atone for her sin of imperfection. Sometimes pressure to succeed that a student
feels from herself and her parents is far too much to overcome.
This poem begins by describing some of the harsh feelings associated with failure. She starts by

24. 1825 To 1850 Dbq Analysis
The democratic values of the united states can be described most commonly as Life, Liberty, and
the pursuit of happiness. In 1825 to 1850 several reform movements came to light, the abolitionist
movement, the womenВ’s rights movement, and the reformation of the naturalization law. Were
these core ideas held by reformers during 1825 1850? The statement, В“Reform movements in the
United Statessought to expand democratic idealsВ” can be assesed by studying the three
aformentioned reform movements.
Abolitionists in the mid 1800s dedicated themselves to bringing the end slavery in the United
States. It is important to know that most abolitionists were not necessarily interested in equality at
first. Abolitionists were mostly northern based and dealt with strong opposition in the early years of
their moral campaign from people in the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Stanton is known for speaking about women s rights at the Seneca Falls Declaration on August 2,
1848 (doc I). Stanton argued that is equality was a democratic ideal of the United States then why
were women not granted equality. While men had the right to chastise and imprison their wives
(doc I), yet women were not even allowed in the voting booths to represent themselves in the
government under which we (they) live (doc I). This was not equality in fact Stanton and many
other women worked hard in order to shorten this gap, Stanton was seeking to expand the core
democratic value of equality specifically equality of the sexes. Although Stanton s efforts were not
effectively introduced to the nation until later the efforts shown in this particular reform movement
proves the validity of the statement В“Reform movements in the United States sought to expand
democratic idealsВ”. During the same time period as Stanton a man named Samuel F.B Morse was

You don t want to be in the fight or flight response at bed time. This natural circadian rhythm makes
sense and it matches our lifestyles. Did Mother Nature know best?
But why you ask. Why are cortisol levels highest in the morning? For at least two major reasons.
One. Too get you up out of bed and ready to take on the day. Two. Working together with the
hormone glucagon cortisol raises blood sugar levels to power up your muscles and your brain!
Remember you have been fasting overnight and blood sugar levels will be low. The brain
demands the body do this and keep blood sugar levels stabilized.
Cortisol and fat accumulation
A little piece of data you need to know to lose fat. Cortisol breaks down muscle to release amino
acids (the building blocks of muscle) which are then used to make glucose, which is energy for the
brain! Think about this, where do you burn fat? In your muscles right. If you catabolise the very
tissue that burns fat you will lose your ability to burn fat and you metabolism will drop making it
more difficult to burn fat. Oh yes, you will be more tired with low energy. Cortisol also promotes
belly fat accumulation!
Further, cortisol contributes to elevated insulin with is the blood sugar balancing hormone.
Elevated insulin has two effects on fat. One it promotes fat storage. Two it inhibits fat mobilization
and utilization by muscles. Elevated insulin makes you store fat which you can t burn! YUCK!
So why is breakfast so

26. Christopher Weaver on Obamacare
This article by Christopher Weaver in the Wall Street Journal brings up some key points about the
number of enrollees in Obamacare as the enrollment deadline closed on Monday. Along the way,
the website has had its downfalls with the Congress shut down and technical issues. This may have
hindered the number of people who potentially would have signed up but got frustrated during the
process. It has been estimated that 7.1 million people have enrolled in the market place. The
impact of this number on the health law is yet to be determined. It also is unseen how this will
impact premiums in the long run, as well as if these insurancecompanies can maintain the plans
offered on the exchange (Weaver, 2014). Furthermore, the effect of many of the provisions and
mandates are yet to be seen; it will be an interesting next few years to see how it pans out. For
example, Weaver asks how many of these millions were previously uninsured. The main point of
the Affordable Care Act (ACA) was to attract the uninsured population to get insurance under the
law. Prior to the implementation of the ACA, there were over 50 million uninsured in America. It
is worth knowing how many of these people were just switching plans or how many of them are
new to the health insurance market. This would be the better measure of the effectiveness of this
law in regard to decreasing the total number of uninsured in America. Even though this will still
leave some insured, there are some reasons this may be

The Power Of Freedom Of Expression In Music
Throughout the years, Music has always played an influential part on our social behavior. I
personally believe that the Music we listen to everyday, the lyrics we hear are favorite artist sing
or rap has a key part into how we conduct ourselves. Why should we oppose censorship when
corporations pay thousands of dollars to create a murder scene and mayhem in a music video and
release it to the public and it usually dominates the TV screen, when works of art can be seen as a
direct insult to people s religious beliefs, threatening to the public and when much sexually explicit
material can be seen as degrading to women. The freedom of speech amendment gave artist the

new rap artist from different parts of the country started to become big time because they rapped

deprive kids of a home because their parents would be gay or lesbian? How will Children who are

questions concerning same sex couples who are looking to adopt. Answering the first question,
yes I think every child deserves to have a home, and I think that most people would agree. The
answer to the second question, Is it fair to deprive kids of a home because their parents would be
gay or lesbian? is no it is not fair at all, and the answer to the last question is we cannot be sure

The rate of straight couples getting a divorce is at two percent, but the rate for lesbian couples is
1.6 percent and the rate for gay couples is even lower at 1.1 percent. This is good because that
means that a child who is adopted by a gay or lesbian couple is probably going to have a more
emotionally secure home, and their parents will probably stay together. Another reason that Gay
and Lesbian couples should be allowed to adopt is because there aren t many people willing to
adopt children, so any good people no matter what their sexuality is should be allowed to adopt.
These children could go into the foster system, but adopting is much better, and it can be safer.
Same sex couples have to plan to want children, instead of accidentally having them. This means
that because they cannot naturally have their own children with their spouse, so they have to find
a donor, surrogate or they have to adopt. This also means that the child will also know that they

I. Who should take the blame for getting Standard Machines Corp into the crisis it faces vis Г vis
closing on a major sale with an established account?
The blame for Standard Machine Corp can be directed in one of three ways:
Industry: One could argue that innovation in the machine tool equipment industry has been
stagnant and resulting caused customers to view machines as commodities and compete on price.
Another thought is that the industry allowed a low cost player to enter and therefore put the
premium priced equipment manufactures in a position of having to rationalize their price.
Unfortunately, competition on price erodes industry margins and profits.

Although we do not believe that it is wise for Standard Machine Corp to lower their prices,
essentially commoditizing their products, it is important for them to manage their customer
relationships on an individual basis. By this we mean that Standard should find ways to justify their
price premium. This may be done by offering packages uniquely customized to retain their long
term clients. Specifically, for long term customers like Occidental, Standard must justify their
$22,000 premium over their competitors within the market.
One way to address this issue would be through rebates. Standard could offer customized rebate
packages to its premium customers, like Occidental. Although they are, in effect, lowering their
prices for Occidental, they are not sending a negative signal to the market. An outright price
decrease could create a price war, where their competitors continue to drive down their own prices,
further commoditizing Standard s line of products. A rebate would offer an incentive for Occidental
to purchase, because the company knows that they will be rewarded on the back end.
Another way for Standard to remedy this pricing situation is to offer additional services along with
its milling machine in order to further differentiate themselves from their competitors. Standard s
package could include an unlimited warrantee for a specified amount of time greater than that of its
competitor, and an increase in on site

God is a deity that in Elie wiesel s night, Elie Wiesel worshipped and in the novel those who
worshipped him stopped believing or just generally didn t believe. Before the holocaust and the
ghettos all started in the beginning of the novel all of the Jews had strong a faithful religion with
their God. Elie in the beginning had a very strong faithful religion. He studied the Jewish Oral
Law and he also studied Kabbalah. He started to have belief problems with his religion when they
were moved from the ghettos to their first camp Buna. When he arrived there and was there after
awhile when he saw some of things that were happening he started questioning why God would let
what was happening happen.
Later on in the novel two Jewish holidays pass Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Rosh Hashanah is
the celebration of a new year and Yom Kippur is the Day of Atonement. During these two
holidays all of the Jews except Elie celebrated these holidays. While the rest of Jews were
celebrating Elie was questioning now if God even existed and if so whys he still allowing all of
these deaths and poor treatment of the Jewish people happen. Then at the end of the novel Elie
didn t believe in him anymore. All he could wonder was why would any God allowed so many
deaths and cruel treatments to happen. The view Adolf Hitler had on the Jewish peoples was that
everything was their faults and he hated them. Before Hitler became a Dictator he was a soldier
just like everyone else in World War 1 and when the German Empire lost he was in disbelief and
just couldn t believe it. Many nationalist and conservatives believed that Germany had not lost the
war on the battlefield but due to betrayal from within, by a stab in the back . Socialists,
communists and particularly Jews were blamed, even though more than 100,000 German and
Austrian Jews had served in the war and 12,000 had been killed.
Hitler then joined NSDAP where he started to gain his power by becoming their strongman due
too being able to inspire people with his speeches. In his speeches he claimed Jews were not only
responsible for the unfair German defeat but were also blocking Germany s recovery. This kind of

Homeowners faced design choices that federal agencies, corporations, builders, architects, research

frame the design options that homeowners had with two themes access, and science and

design options. Science and technology encompass the construction processes and materials,
interior materials, and objects within the house. In some instances, the theme of science and
technology impacted access. I will illustrate how these themes frame and narrow the design options
available to homeowners when purchasing or renovating their homes.

We have all certainly heard the expression the pen is mightier than the sword and as Hamlet
states when he realizes the power of words: I will speak daggers to her, but use none (Hamlet 3.2:

knowledge that language is power to his advantage throughout his plays. From themes of power,
control, disguise, deception, and manipulation, there remains the underlying theme that ties all of
these together: the power of language. The beauty of Shakespeare s work and what makes it
resonate even today is his use of discretion and... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The power of language holds great significance not only in Shakespearean study but of our daily
lives as well. Every nuance Shakespeare creates leaves a clue to a greater truth or understanding
of our humanity. Exploring the works of Shakespeare with this in mind allows for audiences to
gain more appreciation and awareness of the depth of language and communication through his
dialogue and characters as Shakespeare: asks us to adorn the actor with our thoughts and carry
them here and there, jumping o er the times (Bevington xiii). King Henry in Henry V is a great
example of how language can mask and band together his constituents as well as tug at the
admiration of the audience. In his band of brothers speech Henry exclaims We few, we happy
few, we band of brothers/For he today that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother/Be he ne
er so vile (Henry V 4.3: 60 62). Effectively, Henry conveys the notion that on the battlefield each
man stands alongside their King without division, while simultaneously saying they can only
elevate themselves to his level through death and sacrifice to his cause. It proves an effective
speech rallying his soldiers and the audience gains a sense of admiration for the Tudor king. The
convection of his words swirls with deception as Henry is knowingly and willingly creating a
sense of honor in death for a cause that serves none other than his own purposes. Yet it remains

44. Foreshadowing In The Old Testament
The Christian perspective of the Old Testament as the foreshadowing and foundation of the Jesus
Event goes as followed: The Old Testament, also known as the Hebrew Scriptures, or the Old
Covenant, contains myth, history, faith, and culture of the Israelites. The Israelites are descendants
of Abraham and Sarah, then the descendants of Jacob which become the 12 tribes of Israel, then the
only tribe left after the Assyrians wiped them out was the tribe of Judah, hence the name: Jews. As
Christians, we believe that the Old Testamentis one story made up of many stories. We also believe
that all the sections of it, the Torah ( also know as the Pentitute), historical books, wisdom books,
and prophetic books all lay the foundation for the New Testament and... Show more content on

The Old Testament was written by around 40 different men over a time period of approximately
1600 years. All these men over the years had different backgrounds, different political environment,
different cultures, and lived in different geographical areas, but all wrote with one underlying
theme: The redemption of through Jesus Christ purposed before the world began by design of the
Father. (Finding Jesus in every book...). To corroborate, Jesus himself confirms the foreshadowing
and foundation of the Jesus Event found in the Old Testament in Luke 24:25 27: How foolish you
are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Did not Christ have to
suffer these things and then enter his glory? And beginning with Moses and all the prophets, He
explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself. There are numerous
messianic references in the TaNak, however, they can be easily missed without the proper
interpretation. A proper example of a difficult messianic reference to dissect in the Old Testament
can be found in the book of Obadiah. Despite its minor size, the Jesus Event can be depicted through

45. Disadvantages Of Process Control
Process control plays a crucial role in the chemical engineering industry. The aim of process control
is to have a safe plant operation, to attain the design product output, to obtain quality standards from
maintaining the product composition and to operate at the lowest production cost (Sinnott, 2005).
A process control systemis there to eliminate or implement corrective actions on any disturbance
that occurs during operation of a process. Achieving these actions is done through using control
loops that measure specific process variables, compare a desired output to these variables and
control another variable to correct any deviation in the set point of the system being investigated
(Svrcek, Mahoney, Young, 2006).
There are several control ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Bourdon tube gauges: are the most commonly used devices to measure medium to high pressures.
The tube moves outwards when the pressure inside the tube is higher than the external pressure and
inwards when the internal pressure is lower. this motion is proportional to the pressure that is to be
measured and corresponds to the pointer of the device.
Advantages
Very accurate
Disadvantages
It is not corrosion resistant
Manometers: are U shaped tube gauges where pressure readings are taken based on the liquid
heights on either side of the tube.
