On Thursday was a presentation day before visiting an old ironworks. On Friday, they concluded the program by touring the chemical park.

Manchester, England played an important role in both Sweden's steam locomotive history and the industrialization of Europe. The city hosted the 1829 Rainhill trials which helped spark Sweden's interest in building its own locomotives. Manchester was also home to textile mills and factories in the 19th century that showcased working steam engines. Archaeological remains also show that Manchester originated as the Roman settlement of Mamucium.

Paul Stork is an industrial design engineer and partner at Fabrique, a multidisciplinary design agency in the Netherlands. He has worked on 25 museum projects in the past 10 years, including the latest project of redesigning the website for the Rijksmuseum. The new Rijksmuseum website has been extremely successful, with average visiting times of 9 minutes on desktop and 14 minutes on iPad, over 1.8 million unique visitors in less than 6 months, and more than 65,000 image collections created by visitors. Paul recommends that websites go "tablet first" and be responsive, as tablets are increasingly how people access the internet, especially on iOS devices.

A large settlement located on the machair plain of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides.
