This document provides a rubric for evaluating undergraduate student assignments in 300-400 level courses. It outlines five criteria for evaluation: focus/thesis, content/subject knowledge, critical thinking skills, organization of ideas/format, and writing conventions. Each criteria is scored on a scale of 0-20 points, for a total possible score of 100 points. Descriptors are provided for four levels of achievement - exemplary, accomplished, developing, and beginning - for each of the five criteria.
