Skills Bootcamps are one of the many offers that fall underneath the government’s Skills for Life brand. Launched in 2021, Skills for Life - the new cross-government brand, brings together the investment of lifelong learning, simplifying the offer and supporting audiences to find education and training options, whatever their stage in life. Skills Bootcamps - part of the government’s lifetime skills guarantee, helping everyone gain skills for life - are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills, with some courses having the opportunity to fast-track to an interview with an employer. These Skills Bootcamps provide an opportunity for employers to make the most of part-funded training courses to upskill their employees to further their career. With up to 70% funded courses for large enterprises and up to 90% funded courses for small/medium enterprises, it’s an excellent opportunity to upskill at a reduced cost to the employer. Whilst there are numerous courses on the list for Wave 3, this session will focus on project management and project control courses, designed in partnership with APM’s accredited training provided 20/20.
