This document outlines the requirements for Part 1 of a final AP World History project. It requires students to create a timeline titled "Major Events in World History" that includes: - All 72 events from the provided worksheet correctly placed on the timeline - 36 events marked with colored (2+ color) graphics - 5 paragraphs attached discussing 5 selected events, explaining what they are, their importance, and impact The timeline will be graded based on content, accuracy, and visual appeal. Extra credit can be earned by creating an additional visual model on one of the provided topics using an approved format like a picture essay or video. The visual model must be evenly split between visual and textual elements, appealing, comprehensive, and informative.

Part 1: Giant World Timeline
Each Giant World Timeline must include:
● All 72 “Events” must be located correctly on timeline from your “Major Event in World History”
worksheet
● 36 of these events must have a colored (2+ colors) graphic (these can be drawn or printed out from a
computer, cut out of a magazine...etc)
● Title timeline as “Major Events in World History”
● Choose 5 events from the “World Event in World History” worksheet and write one paragraph each that
includes: What this event is, why it’s important, and what impact it had on World History. These can be
written or typed on a separate sheet of paper and attached to the timeline.
