These are the slides for a talk I'm preparing that is intended to introduce software developers to UX design tools so that they can better understand how their designers collect and use qualitative data and so they can participate more fully in the UX design process.
Antti Brunnin puheenvuoro mobiilimarkkinoinnista Markkinointiviestinnän viikolla, Wanha Satama 22.9.2015, Helsinki. Kuluttajakäyttäytymisen muutos näkyy myös mobiilimarkkinoinnissa. Kuluttajat kaipaavat reaaliaikaista ja personoitua markkinointiviestintää, samaan aikaa kuitenkin heidän tavoittamisensa on muuttunut entistä haastavammaksi. Liki vastaa muutokseen laajentamalla mobiilisovellusten markkiointimahdollisuuksia tilannesidonnaiseksi hyödyntämällä bluetooth iBeacon-teknologiaa käyttäjien tunnistamisessa. Likillä tavoitat ja tunnistat asiakkaasi asiakaskohtaamisissa, vaikutat asiakkaan toimintaan lisäämällä asiakaskokemukseen uusia tasoja tai aktivoimalla lisämyyntiä. Liki mahdollistaa myös asiakkaan palauttamisen takaisin ostopolulle.

Программно-аппаратный комплекс для игры в футбол антропоморфных роботовDmitry Rimer

2. INTRODUCTION
Android is a mobile operating system (OS) based on the Linux kernel and
currently developed by Google. With a user interface based on direct
manipulation, Android is designed primarily for touchscreen mobile
devices such as smartphones and tablet computers, with specialized user
interfaces for televisions (Android TV), cars (Android Auto), and wrist
watches (Android Wear). The OS uses touch inputs that loosely
correspond to real-world actions, like swiping, tapping, pinching, and
reverse pinching to manipulate on-screen objects, and a virtual keyboard.
Despite being primarily designed for touchscreen input, it also has been
used in game consoles, digital cameras, and other electronics.
3. HISTORY
• Android, Inc. was founded in Palo Alto, California in October 2003
by Andy Rubin ,Rich Miner ,Nick Sears and Chris White
• Google acquired Android Inc. on August 17, 2005; key employees of
Android Inc., including Rubin, Miner, and White, stayed at the
company after the acquisition. Not much was known about Android
Inc. at the time, but many assumed that Google was planning to
enter the mobile phone market with this move. At Google, the
team led by Rubin developed a mobile device platform powered by
the Linux kernel.
4. FEATURES
• Messaging
• Web Browser
• Voice Based Features
• Multi-touch
• Multi-tasking
• Multiple Language Support
• Accessibility
5. MESSAGING
SMS and MMS are available forms of messaging,
including threaded text messaging and Android Cloud
To Device Messaging (C2DM) and now enhanced
version of C2DM, Android Google Cloud
Messaging (GCM) is also a part of Android Push
Messaging service.
6. WEB BROWSER
The web browser available in Android is based on the
open-source Blink layout engine, coupled
with Chrome's V8 JavaScript engine.
7. VOICE BASED FEATURES
Google search through voice has been available since
initial release. Voice actions for calling, texting,
navigation, etc. are supported on Android 2.2 onwards.
As of Android 4.1, Google has expanded Voice Actions
with ability to talk back and read answers from
Google's Knowledge Graph when queried with specific
commands. The ability to control hardware has not yet
been implemented.
8. MULTI-TOUCH
Android has native support for multi-touch which was
initially made available in handsets such as the HTC
Hero. The feature was originally disabled at the kernel
level. Google has since released an update for the
Nexus One and the Motorola Droid which enables
multi-touch natively.
9. ACCESSIBILITY
Enable screen magnification to easily zoom or pan the
entire screen to get a closer look. Visually impaired
users can now enter full-screen magnification with a
triple-tap on the screen, and even type and interact
with the device while zoomed in. Blind users can use
Gesture Mode to reliably navigate the UI using touch
and swipe gestures in combination with speech output.
10. HARDWARE REQUIREMENT
Feature Minimum Requirement Notes
Chipset ARM-based
For the first release, Android is primarily
targeted towards mobile handsets and
portions of the platform, such as Dalvik
VM graphics processing, currently assume
an ARM architecture.
Memory 128 MB RAM; 256 MB Flash External
Android can boot and run in
configurations with less memory, but it
isn't recommended.
Storage Mini or Micro SD
Not necessary for basic bring up, but
recommended.
Primary Display
QVGA TFT LCD or larger, 16-bit color or
better
The current Android interface targets a
touch-based HVGA resolution display
with a touch-interface no smaller than 2.8
inches in size. However, smaller displays
will suffice for initial porting.
Navigation Keys
5-way navigation with 5 application keys,
power, camera and volume controls
Camera 2MP CMOS Not required for basic bring up.
USB Standard mini-B USB interface
Android uses the USB interface for
flashing the device system images and
debugging a running device.
Bluetooth 1.2 or 2.0 Not required for initial bring up.
11. SECURITY & PRIVACY
Android applications run in a sandbox, an isolated area
of the system that does not have access to the rest of
the system's resources, unless access permissions are
explicitly granted by the user when the application is
installed. Android smartphones have the ability to
report the location of Wi-Fi access points, encountered
as phone users move around, to build databases
containing the physical locations of hundreds of
millions of such access points
