Anaximenes proposed that air is the arche, or fundamental substance, that all other things come from. Some philosophers disagreed, arguing that air cannot transform into fire since air can extinguish fire. Others believed the arche is water or fire. The document agrees most with Thales' view that water is the arche, as water seems to be the unlimited substance that surrounds the world.

“The water can transform into air then if
vaporized further it could also transform into
fire”.
- For us this is not true because air
cannot create fire because air can stop
the fire. And air is responsible for
creating huge fire.

 But for us, we agree in thales explanation
that the arche is water because imagine,if
we see the world it is surrounding water
and it said that the arche must be a
