2. Your Task
• You need to find images of:
▫ 3 school magazine front covers
▫ 3 school magazine contents pages
• You should analyse these images in terms of:
▫ Who is the audience for this school magazine?
▫ What conventions of a school magazine are used?
▫ What is the purpose of this school magazine?
▫ Are there any features you would use/not use in
your own school magazine?

3. This lesson
• You will be given your first school magazine
which you will analyse on paper.
• Your second and third magazines must be
analysed for homework in a digital medium.
• Some examples can be found on the next slide.

4. Presenting
• You will present this in a blog post on your blog
• Your first magazine analysis can either be scanned or added
through a digital photograph.
• For your homework you can either:
▫ Create an account on SpiderScribe and annotate your magazine
images, embedding it into the blog afterwards
▫ Create a Prezi analysing your images, embedding it into the blog
afterwards
• Remember to give your blog post an appropriate title
