This document provides an overview of the importance of the home according to God's design. It discusses three divine institutions established by God: the home, government, and the church. The goal is to study biblical roles within the home, including husband-wife, parent-child, and grandparent-grandchild relationships. Examining God's plan for the home can help families experience joy and succeed according to His standards, which are important as morality declines in society.

Lesson by Mike Smith Investigate the turmoil this world is facing and how we can live upright despite the confusion that is all around us. Live for Jesus my friends!
Jas 4:4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
YOU MUST ACT BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.
THE WOMEN AND CHILDREN NEED US TO PLAY OUR IMPORTANT ROLES. THE SOCIETY AS A WHOLE IS CRYING OUT BECAUSE WE AS MEN HAVE FAILED. THE ONUS IS ON US TO WAKE UP FROM OUR SLUMBER AND DO ALL THAT GOD INTENDED US TO DO. DON’T GIVE THE ENEMY A CHANCE. YOU CAN HAVE CONTROL OF YOUR DESTINY.
After we are born again as new babes in Jesus, we have to grow into spiritual maturity. The benefits are great! It's time to grow more to be ready for the darkening world we are living in.
This is a short overview of how to grow mature in the Lord. It is a life-long process but we all can do it. God wants us to grow up to be like Jesus in words, thoughts, deeds and character. The rewards of spiritual maturity are great here on earth and probably greater in heaven!
Jesus Christ our promised seed is the fulcrum of all history. By gaining a greater understanding of God’s promised redeemer, we can grow in our love and appreciation for what Jesus Christ accomplished.
Success and failure are both determined by what a person believes to receive. As we practice positive believing—believing the positive words of God’s Word—we will receive the positive results that God desires for each of us.
Gen 1:26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

Kindness challenge, The spouse is unilaterally happy/dangerous/apostate, get...franktsao4
Recently, I heard some radio programs mentioning the challenge of kindness, or how to make spouses happy unilaterally, or how to promote family harmony in remarried families. These were originally based on goodwill as a start, but they all have one common thing. It is to lift a certain person or a certain group of people aloft and take their happiness, anger, sorrow, and joy as the highest goal. On the surface, it seems achievable, but if you look at it from the perspective of the Bible, this is almost impossible to reach. Because this world is not controlled by man, but God is the boss. So if man’s effort does not conform to God’s will, it will become a waste of energy.
Phil. 3:12-14 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Mt 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Mk 16:15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
Act 1:8 "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
Mt 13:15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.'
Tit 2:11-14 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
Act 20:35 "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive."
Rom 8:5-8 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Rom 12:1 I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
Act 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
Heb 2:3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him.
Jn 12:42-43 Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
Col 3:1-2 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
Mt 17:20 So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

An Overview of the Home!
Except the LORD build the
house, they labour in vain that
build it: except the LORD keep
the city, the watchman waketh
but in vain. (Ps. 127:1)
3. **0 We are embarking on a journey of
“the home as God would have it!”
●This month we will be focusing on “our home”
and next month on “God’s home!”
●It has been stated that “as goes the home so
goes the nation/society!”
–This mean that when our homes are not what
they should be, it affects us and others!
●A recent survey among college students showed
that 60% of them stated that they never plan to be
married, not that they would be single, but just live
together!
–That is more than half of them!
4. **0 The oldest God ordained
institution is the home!
The home goes all the way make to the beginning
●In Gen. 1&2 we find both man and woman, with
woman being created out of man, to be a helper
for man and that they two would become one flesh
in the husband & wife relationship!
–Gen 2:24-25 Therefore shall a man leave his
father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his
wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were
both naked, the man and his wife, and were not
ashamed.
5. **0
I. Three Divine Institutions!
In this point we will look at the 3 institutions
setup by God for man!
●As Christians, we have a role to play in all three
of these today!
●First, the home!
–First man is given a job and a command!
●Gen. 2:15-17
–Second man is given a wife!
●Gen. 2:20-25
–Last man is given children!
●Gen. 4:1-2
6. **0 Second Government!
●This is clearly seen in (Rom. 13:1-7) but we
read of this principle much earlier!
–Dan 4:25 They shall drive you from men, your
dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field,
and they shall make you eat grass like oxen.
They shall wet you with the dew of heaven, and
seven times shall pass over you, till you know
that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men,
and gives it to whomever He chooses.
●A properly functioning government is a blessing
to it’s people!
7. **0
Third the Church/Kingdom!
●The church/kingdom was always in the mind of God
and always part of His plan!
–Jesus came to establish the church/kingdom (Mt.
16:18-19) as prophesied!
●Is. 2:1-4
●Dan. 2:44
●Joel 2:28-32
●Acts 2:1ff
●After Act. 2 we never read of the kingdom coming but
rather of them “in” the kingdom!
–“In the kingdom” (Col. 1:13; 1 Thess. 2:12; Rev. 1:9
cf. Now priest/kings Rev. 1:6; 5:10)
8. **0 II. What These Three Have in
Common!
●What these three have in common can be
summarized in Daniel’s words to King
Nebuchadnezzar!
–Dan 4:25 That they shall drive thee from men,
and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the
field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as
oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of
heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee,
till thou know that the most High ruleth in the
kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he
will.
9. **0
The Most High Ruleth in the
Kingdoms of Men!
For each one of these to function properly,
we need to seek God’s direction!
●If our homes are going to be what they
should, then we have to conduct them
God’s way and not man’s!
●The better we understand God’s plan for
the home, the better our homes will be when
functioning according to that plan!
●How many of you desire a happy home?
10. **0 III. The Goal Of This Study!
How many of you regularly set goals?
● Studies have shown that people that set
goals are far more likely to succeed! So
have claim that they are as much as 1,000
times more likely!
● In our next three studies we will be looking
at three different relationships in the home!
– Husband and wife
– Parent and child
– Grand-parent and grand-child
11. **0
I believe that people often do
better when they are taught better
and this applies to the home!
●The better we understand the roles we
are in, the better we can fulfill them
according to God’s plan for the home!
●It is important to understand that God
always knows what is best for us and that
we must not change His plan!
–When we change His plan, there will
always be problems!
12. **0
Conlusion:
●It is our prayer and hope that these lessons
will help us to experience the joy of having a
godly home!
●With the decline in the morals of this nation
and even in the world as a whole, it is easy to
see why this study is so important for us today!
●We ask that you try to be here for each
lesson, because each role is crucial in the
overall function of the home!
●May God bless our homes!
