Article in The Times of Israel by Andy Blumenthal: When we have faith in G-d, it generally means that we believe that He created us and that He is the Master of the Universe. However, faith does not necessarily imply trust. Trust in G-d means that we believe that He not only created us, but that He sustains us and that there is Divine Providence in this world. When we trust in G-d, we believe that G-d is close to us and has a personal relationship with each and every one of us, and actually to everything in the world.
Faith, Faith and salvation, Faith creation/maintain ,Examine our faithfranktsao4
Faith has always been a very controversial subject. The reason for the controversy is that we did not follow the interpretation of the original text of the Bible. Just like the following section, when we hear the word of God, love, we use what we understand of the world to explain God’s word, love, which brings others
John. 16:13 “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. ”
The error, is caused by, when interpreting the Bible, it is not for people to enter the truth, but for people to understand all the truths.
Success and failure are both determined by what a person believes to receive. As we practice positive believing—believing the positive words of God’s Word—we will receive the positive results that God desires for each of us.

Today we are going to talk about a very basic question, what is a church, and how can we see as being in a church? When we drive on the street, we often see church buildings one after another in the city. But is this the church mentioned in the Bible? What else should be in the church? We often see young people no longer go to church after they leave their parents. Parents often worry about their spiritual condition and whether they believe in Jesus Christ can be passed on. We will discuss this issue from the perspective of the Bible.

This page will mention why the church has become secular. Let’s start with interpretation of the Great Commandment as an example to understand that doing so will lead to love of God, love of others. And how we cannot do our best in worldly, because of this error, it caused no churches obey GOD’s word, lost God’s blessings, and was assimilated by the world, and finally lost salvation.

This very important webpage here lets us know how many obstacles we have to overcome in order to enter the way of God. We must abide by the teachings of the Bible and use the sword of the Holy Spirit to walk this path, because this is a short-handed battle. In this hand-to-hand combat, if you win, you will have the opportunity to bring people to the kingdom of eternal life. If you lose, then this person has little hope of becoming a citizen of the kingdom of God, because you can believe that it is God’s work, and God It has been arranged that Jesus Christ will be our mediator. Only by having the correct concept of understanding can Jesus live in us happily

But if we do not have the indwelling of Jesus Christ, that means we do not pass the test of the indwelling of Jesus Christ. Then, What is the problem? It means that although we are observing God’s commands on the surface, but in fact we have not obeyed God’s commands. How can we check it out? This is the focus of this chapter.

Chinese people often say that it is necessary to cultivate one’s body and one’s family to govern the country , then, conquer the world. But is that so in the kingdom of God? If so, then what should be different? Why does God say that you are a friend of the world and that you are an enemy of me? So a concept that seems easy to understand is a trap that is easy to fall into. So when we apply it to the church, how should we do it, then what is the standard, whether we will be deceived by the surface illusion, and did not choose disciples who fit God’s will to manage the church
Mission Prep Class: Lesson 6: Preparing for Life as a MissionaryJimmy Smith
In this presentation, I am teaching Lesson 6 of the Mission Preparation class from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to my teenage kids. The lesson topic is preparing for life as a missionary, particularly, how to prepare physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Mission Prep Class: Lesson 5: What is the Role of the Book of Mormon?Jimmy Smith
In this presentation, I am teaching Lesson 5 of the Mission Preparation class from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to my teenage kids. The lesson topic is the role of the Book of Mormon in missionary work. For investigators, an essential part of conversion is receiving a witness from God that the Book of Mormon is true. For missionaries, a personal testimony of the Book of Mormon is also essential to share their message with power. The Book of Mormon is powerful evidence of the divinity of Jesus Christ and provides another testament of his life, mission, and atonement.

This chapter will discuss a topic of sin and freedom. The reason why this question is raised is that freedom is not only the freedom of God, but the freedom of indulgence without any control in the mind of the world. It is a kind of freedom that can only live in fantasy and It is not the actual freedom in the world. It is like you can drive freely on the road, but you must obey the traffic rules, and others must also obey the traffic rules. But once you do not obey the traffic rules, then, there will be car accidents. In a better situation, the police will issue a ticket. The more serious situation is the endanger of life. Then what is the situation of freedom as God speaks of?

In this presentation, I am teaching Lesson 3 of the Mission Preparation class from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to my teenage kids. If someone asks you why you don’t believe in God, then there is a similar question, that is, why you should believe in God. Many questions are related to the current religious world. The polluted theology when we run church activities, is it in line with the Bible? Are we able to tolerate other people’s suggestions? Whether what we teach has something to do with real life? Do we no longer do continuous follow-ups after we finish teaching? Until those points produce the desired effect, let’s discuss these in depth.

Recently, I heard some radio programs mentioning the challenge of kindness, or how to make spouses happy unilaterally, or how to promote family harmony in remarried families. These were originally based on goodwill as a start, but they all have one common thing. It is to lift a certain person or a certain group of people aloft and take their happiness, anger, sorrow, and joy as the highest goal. On the surface, it seems achievable, but if you look at it from the perspective of the Bible, this is almost impossible to reach. Because this world is not controlled by man, but God is the boss. So if man’s effort does not conform to God’s will, it will become a waste of energy.

We are living in the days where great faith is needed to survive in this world. I often cringe when I look at the news. What do we have to look forward to? Today, we face a volatile economy, with the dow plunging more than 2,300 points on this past Thursday and deemed to be the worst day on Wall Street since 1987 (they are said to have rebounded from the plunge). There is a global crisis, a pandemic, as the coronavirus outbreak continues to spread, topping out at 125,000 cases globally. The world is in a sheer panic with consumers buying items such as, toilet paper and hand sanitizer in bulk and major events, schools and entertainments venues shutting down. As for our political climate, well, Trump is our president. I will leave it at that. Violence and Sodomy, as we know, continues to run rampant. Not to mention the natural disasters we face. This list goes on and on.

27. Can you SAY …
That’s me!
He is talking about me!
28. Faith is taking the first
step even when you
don't see the whole
staircase.
- Martin Luther King, Jr.
29. Faith is active.
It's not passive.
It's a commitment.
Abraham believed God, the Bible records.
How do we know it?
We saw it. He behaved in a way that his
belief came out visibly. "Abraham
believed God and it was accredited to him
as righteousness and he was called God's
friend."
30. GOD wants to start with
someone who BELIEVES!
WHATEVER
WHEREVER
WHENEVER
attitude
31. WHY THIS FAITH ATTITUDE?
Because Faith pleases God.
Because Faith is needed today.
Because the Righteous shall live by Faith.
Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)
And without faith it is impossible to please
God, because anyone who comes to him must
believe that he exists and that he rewards
those who earnestly seek him.
32. Hebreo 11:6 (Hiligaynon Bible)
Ang tawo nga wala sing pagtuo sa Dios
indi gid makahatag sing kalipay sa Dios.
Tungod kay ang bisan sin-o nga
nagapalapit sa Dios kinahanglan magtuo
nga may Dios kag magtuo
nga siya ang nagahatag sing balos sa mga
tawo nga nagapangita sa iya.
33. Do you want to work WITH GOD?
Do you want to work FOR GOD?
Faith is the beginning of a WORKING
relationship with God!
-- mamisok kalang quotes of JR 2014
34. if that thing is not
from FAITH ...
it is sin
see ROMANS 14:23
35. Faith is built up through the regular intake of the
Word of God.
Quiet moments with the LORD everyday is a source
of power, productivity and a
well-pleasing life unto the Lord. These moments
must be coupled with a submissive obedience and a
whole hearted devotion towards the call of God
to believe.
36. article: “Godly RISK Takers”
Will we believe God for big things?
If the answer is ‘yes,’ then we automatically
become godly ‘risk-takers’ -- men and women
who trust God and live by faith and not by
sight. When we teach our people to take risks,
we are teaching them to develop faith in God.
37. article: “Godly RISK Takers”
No Small Dreams
One way to teach this concept is to take people to Mark
10:27b (NIV): “… all things are possible with God.”
Ask your leaders to circle the word
“all,” and to write the letters “NSD” next to that verse.
“NSD” means No Small Dreams. We serve a big God, and he
says the size of our faith will determine the size of our
blessings in life: “According to your faith will it be
done to you. ...” (Matthew 9:29, NIV)
38. Romans 10:17 (NKJV)
So then faith comes by hearing, and
hearing by the word of God.
39. "FAITH is really important to God.
It is the currency of His kingdom, and our
experience of His kingdom depends on
what we are able to believe."
-- GGS NOTES
40. For whatever reason, God chose faith to
be the primary basis of relating to Him.
After the fall, we can’t see God and walk
with Him like Adam and Eve seemed to be
able to do.
41. The way we relate to God, and everything
we receive from Him, must be by faith
now. So when He chose a man and a
family and a nation through whom to
reveal Himself, He began with someone
who believed: Abraham.
A 75 YEAR OLD believer!
42. 1. “Go to the land
I will show you.”
(Genesis 12:1)
• Abraham’s father had begun moving
the family to Canaan, but settled
halfway. [HALF WAY is not enough]
• Abraham was called to leave his family
and everything familiar to him.
• He was not given any information more
than the next step.
43. Personal application:
How would the people around you react
if you said you were moving but
had no idea where?
FEASIBILITY study ?

44. What is God saying?
• Faith requires risk and getting out of our
comfort zone.
• God keeps us in relationship with Him
by rarely giving more than the next
step. We can’t rely on principles or follow
a plan. We have to LISTEN to Him.
45. DO NOT FEAR to FAIL …
It is OK to FAIL!
HLM AYALA Volunteers Talk
It reveals what went wrong
It reveals the need for the LORD!
46. 2. “I will make you
into a great nation.”
(Genesis 12:2)
• Abraham had no descendants yet and
was already well past age.
• Abraham’s attempts to help fulfill God’s
promise only complicated things.
47. • Both Abraham and Sarah laughed
when God affirmed that His promise
would soon come to pass.
• But the New Testament says they
believed without wavering
(Romans 4:18-21).
48. Personal application:
How would you react to a couple in their
90s who were still clinging to their belief
that they would one day have a child?
What is God saying?
• He is the promise keeper.
We don’t need to “help” Him.
49. • The path to fulfillment may be
filled with twists and turns and take a
very long time.
• If we land in a place of faith, God calls
it “not wavering” – even when we’ve
had questions, doubts, and maybe
laughed at the absurdity along the way.
50. 3. “Take your son, your
only son, Isaac, whom you
love.” (Genesis 22:2)
• Isaac was born 25 years after
the promise.
• God had already ruled out Ishmael
as the fulfillment.
51. • Abraham had a choice between
clinging to God’s promise and letting it
go. Did he wonder if God was
contradicting Himself?
• Abraham surrendered. But did he
really? Hebrews 11:19 says he
expected God to miraculously fulfill the
promise anyway.
52. Personal application:
How would you respond if God told you to
give up the most important thing to
you—something He had promised you
long ago?
53. What is God saying?
• Love Him above all else.
• Believe Him even when He seems to
wound your heart at its most vulnerable
place.
• Cling to hope in His goodness but
release expectations for how He will
show it.
54. Conclusion:
Hebrews 11:6 says it is impossible to
please God without faith.
The Apostle Paul wrote that we walk by
faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
Jesus said all things are possible to those
who believe (Mark 9:23).
55. Apparently, faith is really important to
God. It is the currency of His kingdom,
and our experience of His kingdom
depends on what we are able to
believe.
56.
57.
58. • Abraham did not FIGHT
the many false religions
around him.
• Abraham did not FLEE and
live in a monastery.
• Abraham focused on God
and FOLLOWED Him
and attained mastery
over his life and
situation.
60. Do you want to work WITH GOD?
Do you want to work FOR GOD?
Faith is the beginning of a WORKING
relationship with God!
