This document discusses how to increase one's perception of God in daily life through small, incremental steps. It encourages the reader to see God's presence everywhere, understand His attributes like omnipresence and omniscience, include God in daily activities like meditation, and grow one's relationship with Him through daily Bible study and obedience. The overall message is that perceiving God more fully is a gradual process of regularly taking "bite-sized" steps in one's spiritual life and deepening one's understanding and experience of God each day.

This presentation is about Stewardship. God entrusted many things to every believer, and all things that we have must be used for the Glory of God. It also encourages us that we must choose to be the best for God, to have the life pleasing, honoring and serving the true and living God.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

2. • Many say that they see
God everywhere.
• Where do you see God?
• In your spiritual life how do
you perceive God?
• How should we perceive
the Great I AM?
• Let us consider how to
increase the reality of God
in our lives bite by bite!
Introduction:
Every little
thing seems
valuable when
you see God in
everything.
3. • Our life with God is important in
everything that we do.
1 Corinthians 10:31; 6:19-20
• We can be helped to honor and
serve God acceptably by
understanding about His powers.
1 Chron. 29:11; Jer. 32:17, 27
• So also when we understand that
God will judge us according to our
work we can decide to live to
please Him. 2 Corinthians 5:10
– This is a growing process.
Colossians 1:9-12
God Is
Omni-
potent!
4. • Some of God’s powerful attributes:
– Omnipresence… Psalm 139:7-12
– Omniscience… 1 John 3:20
• Since God is ever-present, we can
know that He is everywhere and
sees everything. Hebrews 4:13
– God sees everything that we do!
• Seeing God is all-knowing we are
conscious of God’s full
understanding of what happens;
not just our actions but the
intentions and thoughts of our
hearts too. 1 Chronicles 28:9
God Is
Omni-
potent!
5. • God loves us and wants us to put
Him first as He did for us.
– “We love Him because he first loved
us.” 1 John 4:19 Do you? Mk.12:30
• It helps to start off the day with
God. Psalm 5:3; 55:16-17
• Meditate on Him and His Word
through the night and the day.
Psalm 1:2; 63:6; 77:12
– The more we learn each day we’ll
increase the reality of God in our life,
so the more we can understand,
remember and do. Bite by bite
Include
God In
Your
Life!
6. We Need Bite-Sized Growth Each Day
• Our understanding of the reality
of God should exist concerning
all of creation. Romans 1:20;
Acts 17:28; Col. 1:16-18
• It then is proper for us to want
to follow Jesus. Luke 9:23
• A daily life with the Lord will
bring us new bites and new
experiences by which this
reality and relationship with
God will grow continually.
Mt. 4:4; Acts 17:11; 1 Pet. 2:2
7. Begin Your Life With God!
• It starts by hearing the gospel of
Christ… Jn. 6:45; Rom. 1:16
• Then you need to respond with
faith. Mark 16:16; Rom. 10:17
• You also need to repent of sin.
Acts 2:38; 3:19
• You then must confess your
faith in Jesus Christ…
Acts 4:12; 8:37
• And you must be baptized into
Christ. Gal. 3:27; 2 Tim. 2:10
