Exercise In Fitness
Task 1 My own fitness past and future
During High school I participated in Ballet and Modern Dance and it was a constant high intensity
training schedule. The classes I took were conditioning (flexibility class), core strengthening, leg and
arm workout, cardiovascular workout to gain stamina, and of course actual dance class. I have done
ballet since I was 3 years old and modern since I was 10 years old.
These classes benefited me greatly as it gave me a platform to let go of pent up stress from school,

Child Trauma
A number of children around the world are commonly exposed to some form of trauma which can
include physical, sexual and emotional abuse (Wethington et al., 2008). This paper will be focusing on
children between the ages of four to twelve years old who had experienced trauma. For that reason,
the paper will be focusing on art and play therapy as being effective in working with traumatized
children. This paper will begin with the discussion of the importance of knowing and having an
understanding of how trauma affects children along with being aware of approaches that can be used
including art and play therapy. From there, the paper will get in detail about trauma including what it
is and what kind of impact it can have on children who have ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Release play therapy involves the therapist picking out toys that relate to a child s traumatic
experience as a way to help the child to play out a particular situation (Ogawa, 2004). With this
process, a child can communicate their feelings and struggles in a safe environment (Ogawa, 2004). In
child centered play therapy, communication takes place through the therapeutic relationship between
the therapist and child (Ogawa, 2004). As a result, this kind of therapy requires a therapist to be
genuine, show unconditional positive acceptance and express empathy (Ogawa, 2004). The belief in
this approach is that children have an inborn ability to adjust and grow (Ogawa, 2004). During
therapy, children are the ones who decide how to deal with their own experiences and gain control
(Ogawa, 2004). The children decide what kind of play they are willing to use for personal expression
(Ogawa, 2004). Overall, both these approaches that consist of either a directed or non directed
approach are great with working with children who have experienced

Indemnity Health Insurance Essay
Indemnity Health Insurance Coverage is one that gives the policy holders a unique chance to use the
services of a medical service provider (it may be a hospital or just the doctor) and share the bill with
the insurance firm. The very characteristic of the Indemnity Health Care Insurance is that the policy
holder and the insurance company both pay a part of the medical bill as an part of the contract.
This article discusses the various features of the Indemnity Health Insurance. For the last few decades
the indemnity health insurance had been one of the most common health care policies that almost
every American had owned. But with the latest developments in the field of health care policy,
advanced strides have been taken to formulate more affordable health care policies. Nowadays, any
average American prefers to buy a policy that in a systematic and handy way provides the various
medical services and at the same time pays for them as well. That is why the new age custom ... Show

Anyone who has an Indemnity Health cover can use the services of any medical practitioner or any
other kinds of medical service, only the bill needs to be forwarded to the insurer and the medical costs
are instantly reimbursed. Either the policy holder or the medical service provider can forward the bill
and the rest of it is taken care of by the insurer. However, for this smooth processing the policy holder
is required to have paid the deductible amount before hand.
The Indemnity Health Care policies also pay a part of the customary charge that is usually kept
reserved for all the covered medical services. The insurance firm pays for as much as 80% of these
costs. The policy holder is such circumstances is supposed to coinsure just the 20% of the rest of the

holder will have to pay both the coinsurance expenses as well as the excess amount, if

Social Security Administration
During the Great Depression of the early 1930s a form of Social Security was created but the federal
government was not involved in the support of elderly people and their families, those concerns were
considered to be handled locally or by the state. According to the America s Historical Documents
(n.d.), that changed on August 15, 1935 when president Roosevelt signed the Social Security Act, this
act established a system of old age benefits for workers, benefits for victims of industrial accidents,
unemployment insurance, aid for dependent mothers and children, the blind, and the physically
handicapped (America s Historical Documents, n.d.). Now the ... Show more content on

Along with being approved for these benefits Medicaid benefits are also automatically approved for
the claimants. Even with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) being in place with the potential/ goal of
lowering health care cost the Social Security Administration is adding significantly to the health care
cost by allowing claimants with multiple and sever disabilities the ability to automatically be granted
Medicaid health insurance. This program does not require the claimant or the claimant s parents to pay
into medical services as well as the claimant s parents are not required to be a legal citizen to get
government paid health insurance which means no replenishing of funds. For example if a child
comes on to the SSI program with severe behavioral disorder gets approved for health care benefits
and the parents are illegal aliens that child can still withdraw health care and financial benefits. Now
the Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) is an entitlement program through Social Security, this is
a positive side to SSA. This program is when citizen have paid into their Social Security wages
instead of just withdrawing from the government. For instance a citizen has worked up until the age of
retirement which is 65 years old, with all those years of working that individual has paid into their
benefits and can now withdraw them without solely relying on the government. One of the current

That is, we need to provide the client with a list of priority items that can be improved and that will
have a positive impact on overall satisfaction or customer loyalty and retention. Typically, the goal is
to establish the list of priorities and relative importance of the explanatory variables, rather than try to
predict the mean value of customer satisfaction if these improvements were implemented. Since most
CSAT studies are tracking studies, the results can be monitored over time to determine if the desired
changes are occurring. We must be sure that changes in the results are in fact customer response to the
client s marketing efforts and not just phantoms of the analytic tool used to build the model. The latter
often happens as a result of multicollinearity, which is a serious problem in many CSAT studies and
presents two challenges in modeling CSAT data. The first is accurately reflecting the impact of several
independent variables that are highly correlated. The second is insuring that the results are consistent

When the Power Goes Out
Now I am seeing for the first time wonder in a true light. It started with my family. Beginning with my

spend her days hidden beneath the covers in bright daylight until mother dragged her out from
underneath the sheets. As for her looks she was fair with light golden hair. Her nose upturned with
freckles. My parents would call her Rebeka for she was gifted with many talents. The other was
considered very beautiful. A vary of light freckles and a clear complexion made her very attractive.

I was around seven when my father took me to his work office and I met his boss, Mr. Reed. I prefer
to call him Mr. Boss though. It fit him not only because he was the boss, but because he always had a
scowl on his face. My father had been trying to get on the friendly side of his boss for years, but I
guess he was naturally grumpy because few things could turn his frown upside down. His wife died
two years from a car accident and his only joy in life was his daughter, Lauren. She did not mope as
Mr. Reed did because she had knew she still had a kind of connection with her mother. I had met her
before briefly and she seemed very sweet, but it wasn t really my business knowing about her life my
parents had said, so I left it alone.
Life is passion, life is family, life is food. My mother said that when we all stood above the mounding
smells from the fresh foods. The twins came in with no call but by the pure lure of the aroma. Mr.
Boss and Lauren were welcomed just in time for the first course. Mother lifted the lid to several pots
and pans and everyone stood in awe. Starting on the left was a cranberry spinach chia salad glazed
with a spicy oil dressing. Next a Georgia style jambalaya with dirty rice and dressed pork. Homemade
mashed potatoes, buttered corn on the cob, and chicken legs made the perfect American homestyle
cooked meal.

Process Of Negotiation Essay
Negotiation is a fundamental process used in resolving conflicts, making business deals, and in
managing working relationships with others. Negotiations occur for two reasons: (1) to resolve a
problem or dispute between parties, or (2) to create something new that neither party could do on its
own. Negotiating is a critical, every day skill that is essential anytime it is necessary to create short
term or long lasting agreements. For example: In 1996, Juwan Howard signed a contract worth over
$100 million with the Miami Heat and nearly became the highest paid NBA player during the 96 97
NBA season. However, his contract was voided by the NBA citing that the Heat exceeded its salary

at getting him in Miami. Juwan s Agent David Falk s Job was to get the most for his client in the end
no matter where he played. The Bullets had first crack at offers, ranging in the high 8 figures and
actuals would change as the bidding continued, but the Bullets were not the only ones looking to
Howard. The Miami Heat was also interested and would come into the play with their own offers to be

their own deals with the Heat as well as the Bullets. During this time Pat Riley indicated to Mourning
that he would eventually be the highest player in Miami. This statement would result in a complete
unraveling of the most promised line up of players for this NBA team and a potential of huge success.
As the bidding war continued, Juwan Howard would eventually sign on with the Heat for over 100

at over 100 Million. This caused NBA Officials to investigate over a potential violation of salary cap

that are present in the country. Haiti is currently working on improving these health concerns. The
topics that were chosen to examine Haiti s health more in depth was women s health, sanitation and
hygiene, and nutrition. This paper will look further into the health of women in Haiti, as well as the
sanitation and water supply and nutrition of the population. This paper will also address the steps that
have been taken to help improve the health of women, nutrition, water, sanitation, and hygiene in

The earthquake also affected the women that are residing in the community reproductive health. The
conditions that the women are giving birth in are not always safe and adequate, especially after the
earthquake. To help give the women what she needs during delivery an organization is distributing
reproductive health kits to assist [the women] and their families to deliver their babies in the absence
of medical staff to support them (Daniel, 2010, p. 102). There are many steps that are being taken in
Haiti to help improve women s health especially when it concerns reproductive health. By educating
and improving the health of the women it will with any luck improve the health of the children in
Haiti as well. By improving the women s health it will help to decrease the cases of malnutrition in the
children of Haiti as well.
Nutrition
Malnutrition is a serious health concern for people that are residing in Haiti, especially the children.
Malnutrition has a serious effect on the body, children [that] suffer from acute malnutrition are at a
great risk for severe morbidity and mortality (Roller, Gray, Previl, Forrest, 2014, p. 1094). There is no
reason for these children to be suffering from malnutrition when there is such a simple solution to fix
malnutrition. According to UNICEF the percent of children that are underweight and is considered

Essay On Critique Of Pure Reason By Immanuel Kant
Immanuel Kant s Critique of pure reason aims to question and evaluate what is ultimately real, and to
discover the restrictions and scope of pure reason. The main doctrine within the critique being the idea
of transcendental idealism, concerning epistemology. Kant s doctrine aims to show that humans can
only construct knowledge from their senses. This opposed the previous views of Rene Descartes
idealism and George Berkley s complete denial of the existence of matter. Universal concepts which
Kant regards as categories then filter the sense impressions we receive. Kant s idea of the noumenal

third description between colour and not having colour is impossible. It either has a colour or does not.
In my opinion, Kant can overcome this weakness within the argument for noumena by using the
distinction between positive and negative predicates. Kant could hold that the noumenal realm can
only have negative predicates and as such human ascriptions become less

How Did Woodrow Wilson s 14 Point Plan
President Woodrow Wilson addressed Congress with a proposed 14 point plan before the end of World
War I. The President did not want to fight in the war only to protect England and France, instead he
wanted to end all wars. These fourteen points were made specifically to provide peace that would last
forever and prevent another World War from happening. Wilson plan was to create peace throughout
the world with his fourteen point system; however, after discussing with the other Allied powers it
became evident that his 14 point plan would not be put into action without a lot of compromising. The
allied powers did not agree with Wilson s idealism of world peace. British Prime Minister, David

did not want to be too harsh on Germany, but his nation did. So, he agreed for a harsh treaty because
he was afraid of causing another war in the future. Ultimately, all the nations associated with this

Adoption of Ifrs in Australia
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) are an international set of accounting standards.
Early in the 21st century, the Australian Accounting Standards board, with guidance from the
Financial Reporting Council (FRC), decided to implement IFRS s throughout Australia. This decision
was made so that Australia could participate and contribute to the development of a distinct set of
accounting standards that could be used all around the world. This report will explore the process of
setting standards in Australia, the effects it can have on interest groups, and the way in which the
introduction of IFRS would change the way Australian accountants report their financial position. The

This includes public sector entities, certain non listed companies such as large companies, as well as
not for profit organisations such as charities. There are minor differences between the IFRS and A
IFRS, for example, differences in wording to accommodate the Australian legislative environment, as
well as additional disclosures, and additional requirements for not for profit entities. (Deloitte, 2005, A
IFRS vs. IFRS). Process of Setting Standards I believe that the process of setting standards, both in
Australia, and on an international level, is a political process. It involves politics to a great extent in a
number of ways. For example, politics are involved during the standard setting process, as the groups
involved are all government groups which are statutory bodies under various acts, this is politics. The
affects that the standards have on stakeholders in Australian companies as well as the economy as a
whole, is also linked to politics. The FRC advises the Australian government on the process in which
accounting standards are set, as well as advising the direction in which the AASB will head. The
AASB is responsible for standard setting in Australia. Although the FRC can provide the AASB with
strategic directions, it does not have the power to directly force the AASB to create or amend a
specific standard. The FRC is also responsible for appointing the members of the AASB,

Naturalized Citizen Clause Pros And Cons
Argument Paper: The Naturalization Clause Controversy The United States is a nation built on
independence and freedom. This freedom, established through the constitution, allows American
citizens to be able to participate in their government. The same constitution also restricts freedom of
some Americans however. The naturalization clause amended to the constitution in 1790, forbids
naturalized citizens from becoming president. Many naturalized citizens have lived in America for
most of their lives and contribute to society just as much as a natural born citizen does. The
naturalized clause of 1790 should be removed from the constitution so that naturalized citizens also
have a chance to run for the presidency. To be able to understand the controversy surrounding the
natural born citizen clause in the constitution, it is important to know why it was added to the
constitution in the first place. The original purpose of this clause was to prevent the British rule from
coming to America and taking charge (Hulse). The National Constitution Center staff quoted the
natural born citizen clause in the constitution saying that no person except a natural born citizen or a
citizen of the United States at the time of the adoption of this constitution shall be eligible to the office
of president ( Natural Born ). This clause also allows children that are offspring of United States
citizens that are born internationally to obtain citizenship ( Natural Born ). At the time when the

My one of my two issue s with The Curse of Sleeping Beauty is that it s a bit to slow to get going.
Though once it got going it was great. My other being the predictability of what s going to happen.
Maybe I m just jaded from seeing to many horror films over the years, but I saw the twist from about
the thirty minute mark.
Final thoughts, overall I really liked it. Was it a masterpiece? No, of course not as few films are. But it
was entertaining and I don t consider watching a complete waste of time. The visuals are nice, the
pacing is solid and it has a great dread location that is dripping with atmosphere. Would I recommend
it? Yes, I just recommend going into with an open mind and a six pack.

The Destruction Of Jerusalem And The Temple
Point #2 The destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in A.D. 70 fulfills Christ s prophecy of perilous
times.
13:
With v. 15 we come to a critical juncture in the discourse. To this point Jesus has referred to general
signs that would characterize the period preceding Israel s collapse. Here in v. 15, though, he refers to
one sign that unmistakably signals that the prophesied destruction is at hand. It would serve to alert
the people of that generation as to the proximity of Jerusalem s ruin. In response to the question,
When will these things be? Jesus now answers When you see . . . (v. 15).
Abomination of Desolation is literally, the abomination that causes desolation. In the OT, abomination
= an object of disgust, hatred, something that causes revulsion; an idolatrous offense or affront to the
true worship of God.
The Abomination of Desolation is referred to 4x in Daniel 8:13; 9:27; 11:31; 12:11. The first and
immediate reference was to the Syrian king Antiochus who ruled over Palestine in 175 65 b.c. He
called himself Theos Epiphanes ( manifest God ) but his enemies called him Epimanes ( madman; the
insane one ).
In 168 b.c. Antiochus Epiphanes slaughtered 40,000 Jews and plundered the temple. He sacrificed a
pig on the altar of burnt offering, sprinkled broth from the unclean flesh all over the holy grounds as
an act of deliberate defilement. He then erected an image of Zeus above the altar. It was a sacrilege of
indescribable proportions indelibly imprinted

American Civil War
Experiences of the American Civil War (1861 1865): Honor, Duty and Death Introduction The
following pages are an essay on the cause of the American Civil War (1861 1865) and the effects that
the war had upon the soldiers, women and African Americans of the North and the South. In this essay
I will write about the following topics and present a view of how the war was witnessed by these
different groups of people. In regards to the soldiers of the North and the South, I will answer the
following questions: What was the enthusiasm of the soldiers from the North and the South before the
war? What was their perspective after the fighting had started? How did the soldiers of the invading
armies treat the civil population? The horrors of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The soldier s perspectives on the length of the war were influenced by the motivation to protect their
way of life. In describing the sentiments of Union and Confederate soldiers we can use some examples
that are in letters sent home by the soldiers. One Kentucky confederate wrote, I choose to fight for
southern rights and southern liberty against the vandals of the North who were determined to destroy
slavery [vi]. Another opinion by a Wisconsin Union soldier states his reasons for fighting in the war, I
have no heart in this war if the slaves cannot go free [vii]Both the North and the South believed to be
fighting to preserve the society that was prevalent in the respective regions of the United States. The
South was trying to protect the institution of slavery and their society. The North, at the start of the
war, only had the intention to overcome the succession, but they later realized that it could only do this
by destroying slavery[viii]. When it became apparent to the soldiers on the battlefield that the war
would not end quickly, the tone of enthusiasm changed. An example of the change in attitude can be
obtained from the following passage that was written by the Union soldier Jno R. McClure to his sister
in 1862 I will tell you what I think and that is the north will never whip the south as long as there is a
man left in the south. They fight like wild devles. Ever man seems to determine to loose the last

There are many different methods that can be applied to reduce the tension. It is vital to reduce and
manage stress because stress can lead to high blood pressure, heart attacks, higher levels of
depression, and more. However, one of the most effective coping strategies you can complete is
finding emotional support. Emotional support can make quite the difference, 26% of those with
emotional support report that their stressed increased in the past year compared to 43% of those with
no emotional support. (APA) In addition to emotional support, focusing on yourself is an important
skill. Focus on making sure you get a healthy meal, having quiet time, or just time to make yourself
feel comfortable. Similarly, exercise can make you feel more at ease. (APA) Exercise chemically
affects the brain releasing good endorphins making you feel better. Some exercises can reduce heart
rate and blood pressure leading to less stress hormones in the body. (U Line) Overall, we see the
harms of stress, but we also can find ways to cope with the inevitable tension.

Security Dilemmas In The Peloponnesian War By Thucydides
Besides this classic security dilemma Thucydides describes in Book I Section 23, he also presents
different variations of this realist theory.
In one of them, the Athenians found themselves in the unlikely position to gain a security bonus could
by capturing an external asset. At the eve of the Peloponnesian War, the Athenians stood before the
decision whether or not to take a side in the dispute between Corinth and Corcyra. The Corcyraeans
word the dilemma in the following terms:
To give the briefest summary of the main thrust and the detail of our case, this is what should

At the same time the already cool relations between Moscow and Washington began to deteriorate
even further. Very quickly two blocks (or in ancient Greek terms ‚leagues ) would form, forcing every
state to make a decision: Either side with the capitalist, western NATO under the leadership of the
USA or the communist, eastern Warsaw Pact under the lead of the USSR. However this arms race
never turned into an actual conflict as both states rather fought proxy wars in Vietnam, Korea or
Angola.
This bi polar system appears to have ended in 1991, leaving the US economically weakened USSR
disintegrated. Ever since the end of the cold war, a multi polar balance of power has been emerging,

The Inequality Of Rural Women
There s women in these countries that don t even know when their next meal is, or when they will be
able to drink a glass of water. It s tragic to mention that juvenilization of poverty coincides with
feminization of poverty because mothers are always expected to nurture and raise the kids, as it is
explained in the theory of functionalism. A 1992 UN report discovered the number of rural women
living in poverty in the developing countries has increased by almost 50% over the past 20 years to an
awesome 565 million. (IPeterson)This quote exemplifies the deterioration of rural women s identity
that is imposed due to impact of colonial powers. However, it s ironic how these countries are
developing but still undergo a mass incline in the poverty rate amongst women, leads to question what
their development plans to digress. With the establishment of agreements of international free trade
policies, corporations used this motive as a way to generate profit from cheap labor in underdeveloped
countries. Colonization of small rural counties is solely sought out to benefit the wealthy of the
population and exploits the majority of the poor natives. Some condescending examples include the
deterioration of indigenous culture and identity, physical harm to the rebellious natives, and
exploitation of the resources that continue to destroy the lives of women. After Spanish colonial
powers withdrew from Peru during independence in the early 19th century, rapid shifts swept across

Sealed Air Coporation Case Study Essay
1.0 INTRODUCTION The Sealed Air corporation is committed to market leadership through
technological innovation. Ten years ago, the company was first to market with a highly successful
coated air bubble packaging protection product, AirCap. However, market trends indicate a rapid
displacement of coated bubble by a technologically inferior yet inexpensive uncoated product.
Burgeoning demand for uncoated bubble poses a direct threat to the long term viability of the
technologically superior, premium priced AirCap. Thus Sealed Air is situated at a critical standpoint. It

As a result, larger distributors typically carry competitive products. Margins on product resale is
generally higher than 10%. The proliferation of packaging products and poor product education has
caused confusion among end users. US consumers have traditionally viewed packaging supplies as a
cost saving resource. Consequently, packaging engineers are accorded high status and influence
roughly 40% of material purchase decisions. The US market is experiencing strong growth, driven in
part by the growth of the coated and uncoated bubbles segment. However, AirCap s market share
remains stagnant (Appendix A). It is apparent that a growing segment of end users are willing to forgo
product quality for a lower price. European firms, in particular, are price conscious and less
technically oriented; many firms view packaging supplies as expendable commodities. This has
enabled manufacturers of technically inferior, inexpensive uncoated bubble to co opt AirCap

Osteoporosis
When estrogen levels decrease, a woman s chances for developing osteoporosis increases following

bone density in the early and late postmenopausal stage.
Men receiving a testosterone replacement therapy will also see the benefit of increased bone density

Human nature is found deep within all of us. We all share the same qualities and feelings; those of
loneliness, jealousy, abandonment, pain, and anger. Throughout all of literature it seems as though the
antagonist beholds these particular characteristics which typically leads to the conflict. In the epic
poem Beowulf, Grendel, the antagonist of this story, can be described using these characteristics.
What the reader fails to recognize is although Grendel is suppose to be a monster he really is more
human than one realizes. Grendel should be looked upon as more humanistic than monstrous to truly

Psycho Analysis
The movie Psycho was filmed in 1960 by Alfred Hitchcock. The movie focuses on a woman named
Marion Crane. It starts when she steal 40,000 dollars from her boss to run away with her boyfriend. It
s late and she decides to check into a motel, the Bates Motel. At the motel, she encounters a middle
aged man named Norman Bates. He becomes morbidly obsessed with her. But he then kills
her...dressed as his dead mom. There is a show that acts as a prequel to Hitchcock s masterpiece; Bates
Motel. It is focused on Norman Bates and his mother, Norma Bates whereas the movie is focused on
Marion Craine. Bates Motel is a very well written show, with great acting, and is filled with a ton of
textbook psychology. There are very many different subplots in the show, but this paper is strictly
going to analyze Norman and his relationship with his mother. It goes very in depth about the very
troubling relationship between a son and mother, and how it led to Norman developing a dangerous
persona of his mom. You could even say that Norman has an Oedipus conflict. An Oedipus conflict is
apart of one of the psychosexual stages thought of by Sigmund Freud. He believed that during the age
of 3 6, a child developed feelings for the parent of the opposite sex. And the only way to get over that
feeling was to identify with his father. His Oedipus conflict would go on to never be resolved because
his father was abusive. The series starts off after Norman hits his father in the head with a blender,
killing him. His mom covers it up and makes it look like an accident to protect Norman. His father had
been very abusive to him and his mother. Child abuse is said to be one of the most common causes of
many mental illnesses. In this case, the abuse caused him to dissociate, or go off into his own little
world where he felt safe in. It was very traumatic for a young Norman and his mother. People who
tend to experience very traumatic things together have a stronger bond than those who don t. Norman
and his mother are so codependent on each other that it s toxic.
It is very apparent that Norman has a Dissociative Identity Disorder, also known as Multiple
Personality Disorder. DID is when more than one different, distinct personalities take

The short film was able to tell a story while having no dialogue and it managed to carry the message
of how we are all connected. Amanda Forbis and Wendy Tilby showed the message by presenting
various frames in the film of electricity wires and water pipes and how both ended connecting Ruby to

In some area fishermen grow seaweeds to export. Sea vehicles are important as transportation

But I am surprised to see that not too many people are taking good care of the sea. Many people only

Inference Vs Observation Research
Inference Vs. Observation In the science of Psychology, observations and inferences are equally
important. Observation is the act of perceiving, of noticing, of watching something closely. On the
other hand, inference is looking at the evidence in front of you and making a deduction of your own
based on what you see. When somebody observes something or someone they just state the facts as
they appear before their eyes, whereas in inference they reach a conclusion by assuming or deducting
things as well. For example, an observation would be Observation and Inference Distinction O_1. The

Plauchut s Cavite Mutiny
Plauchut s account also seems to be a result of carefully chosen information from sources other than
himself, and crafted to form a decent, if not slightly deficient, story about the events that culminated to
the Cavite Mutiny. These sources were mentioned in the essay and it seems safe to say that indeed, he
gathered information from such sources and used them to make his account. Although, Plauchut also
presented some information that, to some extent, he personally knew of, I still believe that his account
does not belong in the first category of First hand accounts as it was only through the information
from his sources that he was able to make an account. The third account is of Antonio Regidor, an

The inclusion on the Act of the definition prevents such an interpretation, due to the fact that it is only
a person s status as a sex worker that is protected. There are four attributes that involve activity ,
namely breastfeeding , political activity , trade union activity and religious activity .9 The Court
compared the definition of lawful sexual activity with these four, and found that only religious activity
is defined in the Act. Such a definition implies that religious activity has categories of activity or non
activity, whereas lawful sexual activity has no such definition and is defined only in the form of status
. Hence, it may be concluded that the attribute cannot be extended beyond status as a lawfully
employed sex worker 10 to include the category of activity the engaging in prostitution on the
premises. Thus the Appeal Tribunal erred in this regard.
In applying the test in section 10(1)11 one must identify the characteristics relevant in the comparator.
The court applied Purvis,12 and state that circumstances that are the same or not materially different

claimer.
It was viewed that the Tribunal identified the incorrect comparator due to the notion that a person who
intends to use a room for purposes of prostitution is not necessarily a person without the

I have been involve in different leadership roles during my professional and personal experience but
after attending this course of practicing leadership and public health course, I have enhanced my skills
in various perspective which would be helpful for my personal and professional growth. The content
of the course provided me the opportunity to explore more about my personal and professional
strengths and weakness with the perspective of leadership. I have realized the importance of the strong

facilitators. It was great experience to reflect on my own achievements and accomplishment by
interlinking with new learned skills and education.
On the very first day, I was overwhelmed and excited because I was going to learn from two great
mentors. I was also excited to share my previous practicing leadership skills with other group
members although I have greatly sharpened my leadership skills according to the framework provided
by the facilitators on the first day. I had been provided different opportunities to demonstrate the

Essay on The Three Witches in Macbeth
The three witches in the tragedy Macbeth are introduced right at the beginning of the play. The scene
opens with the witches chanting three prophesies: Macbeth will be Thane of Cawdor, Thane of Glamis
and King. These prophesies introduce Macbeth to his plan of defeat and to over power. Macbeth will
eventually follow through in killing king Duncan. Some people believe that the witches had the ability
to reverse the order of things. This brings into the play idea of fate and the role with which it has in the
play. One can only wonder if Macbeth ever had a chance of doing what was right after he met with the
witches. It is however, more realistic to believe that Macbeth was responsible for his own actions
throughout the play and in the end, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She can manipulate Macbeth easily, this is shown in the line That I may pour my spirits in thine ear .
(I,V, 26) She is selfless, and wants what is best for her husband. Before the speech that Lady Macbeth
gives, in act one scene five, Macbeth decides not to go through with the killing of the king. However,
Lady Macbeth manipulates at Macbeth s self esteem by playing on his manliness and his bravery. This
then convinces Macbeth to kill the king..Macbeth is like a child who is easily gudied. Lady Macbeth
knows this and acts on it accordingly. Although Macbeth has the final say in weather or not to go
through with the initial killing, he loves Lady Macbeth and wants to make her happy. Lady Macbeth is
the dominating one in the relationship which is shown in her soliloquy.
It seems that she can convince him to do anything as long as she pushes the right buttons. On the other
hand, as the play goes one, and Duncan is killed, their is a reversal of natural order, and Macbeth
becomes the dominating one. Lady Macbeth becomes very obedient. She becomes pathetic and only a
shadow of her former self. Where she used to be manipulative and stong willed she is now weak and
is unable to control Macbeth.
Ambition plays a large role in this tragedy. Both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth have a very srtong
ambition that drives them. Lady Macbeth s ambition drives her to manipulate Macbeth into
committing murder. Macbeth s aggressive ambition is present before the witch s

Organic Of Organic Food Industry
2. Introduction
Organic foods are foods that are processed without the use of synthetic materials such as pesticides,
antibiotics and chemical fertilizers. National Organic Standards Board defined organic agriculture as;
An ecological production management system that promotes and enhances biodiversity, biological
cycles and soil biological activity. It is based on minimal use of off farm inputs and on management
practices that restore, maintain and enhance ecological harmony (Organic Trade Association, 2014).
Organic food industry is a heavily regulated industry which complies with organic standards set by
governments and international organizations (Statista, 2014). Inspections of farm fields, record
keeping and periodic testing of soil and water are required to ensure that growers of organic foods are
meeting the standards which have been set by these organizations.
Although organic production reflects similar cost structure with conventional production in terms of
growing, harvesting, transportation and storage; total costs are higher in organic production due to
more labour and management intensive process in order to adapt these strict regulations. This causes
organic foods become more expensive than conventional foods. However, even more expensive,
global demand for organic foods has been growing substantially over the last decades. There are
several different reasons behind this rapid increase in consumer demand for organic foods. Food
safety concerns linked to

You work for HydroTech, a large manufacturer of high pressure industrial water pumps. The firm
specializes in natural disaster services, ranging from pumps that draw water from lakes, ponds, and
streams in drought stricken area to pumps that remove high water volumes in flooded area. You report
directly to the CFO. Your boss has asked you to calculate HydroTech s WAAC in preparation for an
executive retreat. Too bad, you are not invited, as water pumps and skiing are on the agenda in Sun
Valley, Idaho. At least you have an analyst on hand to gather the following required information:
1. The risk free rate of interest, in this case, the yield ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
3. Calculate the cost of equity capital using the CAPM, assuming a market risk premium of 5%.
Using CAPM: Risk Free Rate = 6%; Market Risk Premium = 5%; Beta = 1.2
Cost of Equity = Risk Free Rate + Equity Beta * Market Risk Premium
Cost of Equity = 6% + 1.2 * 5%
Cost of Equity = 0.06 + 1.2 * 0.05
Cost of Equity = .12
Cost of Equity = 12%
HydroTech s cost of equity using CAPM is 12%.
4. Using a tax rate of 35%, calculate HydroTech s effective cost of debt capital.
Cost of Debt = 7%; Tax Rate = 35%
Effective cost of debt capital = Cost of debt * (1 tax rate)
Effective Cost of Debt Capital = 7% * (1 35%)
Effective Cost of Debt Capital = 0.07 * (1 0.35)
Effective Cost of Debt Capital = 0.07 * (0.65)
Effective Cost of Debt Capital = 0.0455
Effective Cost of Debt Capital = 4.55%
HydroTech s Cost of Debt Capital is 4.55%.
5. Calculate HydroTech s WACC
Weight of Equity = 71%; Equity Cost of Capital = 12%; Weight of Debt = 29%; Debt Cost of Capital
= 4.55%
WACC = (Weight of Equity * Equity Cost of Capital) + (Weight of Debt * Debt Cost of Capital)
WACC = (71% * 12%) + (29% * 4.55%)
WACC = (0.71 * 0.12) + (0.29 * 0.0455)
WACC = 0.0852 + 0.013195
WACC = 0.098395
WACC = 9.8395% HydroTech s WACC is 9.8395%.
6. When is it appropriate to use this WACC to evaluate a new project?
WACC is the weighted average cost of capital and provides firms with the idea of the proportion of

With this process, a child can communicate their feelings and struggles in a safe environment (Ogawa, 2004). In child centered play therapy, communication takes place through the therapeutic relationship between the therapist and child (Ogawa, 2004). As a result, this kind of therapy requires a therapist to be genuine, show unconditional positive acceptance and express empathy (Ogawa, 2004). The belief in this approach is that children have an inborn ability to adjust and grow (Ogawa, 2004). During therapy, children are the ones who decide how to deal with their own experiences and gain control (Ogawa, 2004). • 16. Naturalized Citizen Clause Pros And Cons Argument Paper: The Naturalization Clause Controversy The United States is a nation built on independence and freedom. This freedom, established through the constitution, allows American citizens to be able to participate in their government. The same constitution also restricts freedom of some Americans however. The naturalization clause amended to the constitution in 1790, forbids naturalized citizens from becoming president. Many naturalized citizens have lived in America for most of their lives and contribute to society just as much as a natural born citizen does. The naturalized clause of 1790 should be removed from the constitution so that naturalized citizens also have a chance to run for the presidency. To be able to understand the controversy surrounding the natural born citizen clause in the constitution, it is important to know why it was added to the constitution in the first place. The original purpose of this clause was to prevent the British rule from coming to America and taking charge (Hulse). The National Constitution Center staff quoted the natural born citizen clause in the constitution saying that no person except a natural born citizen or a citizen of the United States at the time of the adoption of this constitution shall be eligible to the office of president ( Natural Born ). The Destruction Of Jerusalem And The Temple Point #2 The destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in A.D. 70 fulfills Christ s prophecy of perilous times. 13: With v. 15 we come to a critical juncture in the discourse. To this point Jesus has referred to general signs that would characterize the period preceding Israel s collapse. Here in v. 15, though, he refers to one sign that unmistakably signals that the prophesied destruction is at hand. It would serve to alert the people of that generation as to the proximity of Jerusalem s ruin. In response to the question, When will these things be? Jesus now answers When you see . . . (v. 15). Abomination of Desolation is literally, the abomination that causes desolation. In the OT, abomination = an object of disgust, hatred, something that causes revulsion; an idolatrous offense or affront to the true worship of God. The soldier s perspectives on the length of the war were influenced by the motivation to protect their way of life. In describing the sentiments of Union and Confederate soldiers we can use some examples that are in letters sent home by the soldiers. Another opinion by a Wisconsin Union soldier states his reasons for fighting in the war, I have no heart in this war if the slaves cannot go free [vii]Both the North and the South believed to be fighting to preserve the society that was prevalent in the respective regions of the United States. The South was trying to protect the institution of slavery and their society. The North, at the start of the war, only had the intention to overcome the succession, but they later realized that it could only do this by destroying slavery[viii]. When it became apparent to the soldiers on the battlefield that the war would not end quickly, the tone of enthusiasm changed. An example of the change in attitude can be obtained from the following passage that was written by the Union soldier Jno R. It s tragic to mention that juvenilization of poverty coincides with feminization of poverty because mothers are always expected to nurture and raise the kids, as it is explained in the theory of functionalism. A 1992 UN report discovered the number of rural women living in poverty in the developing countries has increased by almost 50% over the past 20 years to an awesome 565 million. At the motel, she encounters a middle aged man named Norman Bates. He becomes morbidly obsessed with her. But he then kills her...dressed as his dead mom. There is a show that acts as a prequel to Hitchcock s masterpiece; Bates Motel. It is focused on Norman Bates and his mother, Norma Bates whereas the movie is focused on Marion Craine. Bates Motel is a very well written show, with great acting, and is filled with a ton of textbook psychology. There are very many different subplots in the show, but this paper is strictly going to analyze Norman and his relationship with his mother. It goes very in depth about the very troubling relationship between a son and mother, and how it led to Norman developing a dangerous persona of his mom. You could even say that Norman has an Oedipus conflict. An Oedipus conflict is apart of one of the psychosexual stages thought of by Sigmund Freud. He believed that during the age of 3 6, a child developed feelings for the parent of the opposite sex. And the only way to get over that feeling was to identify with his father. His Oedipus conflict would go on to never be resolved because his father was abusive. The series starts off after Norman hits his father in the head with a blender, killing him. His mom covers it up and makes it look like an accident to protect Norman. His father had been very abusive to him and his mother. Child abuse is said to be one of the most common causes of many mental illnesses. In this case, the abuse caused him to dissociate, or go off into his own little world where he felt safe in. It was very traumatic for a young Norman and his mother. People who tend to experience very traumatic things together have a stronger bond than those who don t. The sea and the coastal areas play important roles in our small place. We have many kinds of dishes made from sea product. In some area fishermen grow seaweeds to export. Sea vehicles are important as transportation infrastructure. Many people are depending on the sea. But I am surprised to see that not too many people are taking good care of the sea. Plauchut s Cavite Mutiny Plauchut s account also seems to be a result of carefully chosen information from sources other than himself, and crafted to form a decent, if not slightly deficient, story about the events that culminated to the Cavite Mutiny. These sources were mentioned in the essay and it seems safe to say that indeed, he gathered information from such sources and used them to make his account. Although, Plauchut also presented some information that, to some extent, he personally knew of, I still believe that his account does not belong in the first category of First hand accounts as it was only through the information from his sources that he was able to make an account. The inclusion on the Act of the definition prevents such an interpretation, due to the fact that it is only a person s status as a sex worker that is protected. There are four attributes that involve activity , namely breastfeeding , political activity , trade union activity and religious activity .9 The Court compared the definition of lawful sexual activity with these four, and found that only religious activity is defined in the Act. Such a definition implies that religious activity has categories of activity or non activity, whereas lawful sexual activity has no such definition and is defined only in the form of status . Hence, it may be concluded that the attribute cannot be extended beyond status as a lawfully employed sex worker 10 to include the category of activity the engaging in prostitution on the premises. Thus the Appeal Tribunal erred in this regard. In applying the test in section 10(1)11 one must identify the characteristics relevant in the comparator. The court applied Purvis,12 and state that circumstances that are the same or not materially different 13 include all of the objective features which surround the actual or intended treatment 14 of the claimer. It was viewed that the Tribunal identified the incorrect comparator due to the notion that a person who intends to use a room for purposes of prostitution is not necessarily a person without the ... • 44. Essay on The Three Witches in Macbeth The three witches in the tragedy Macbeth are introduced right at the beginning of the play. The scene opens with the witches chanting three prophesies: Macbeth will be Thane of Cawdor, Thane of Glamis and King. These prophesies introduce Macbeth to his plan of defeat and to over power. Macbeth will eventually follow through in killing king Duncan. Some people believe that the witches had the ability to reverse the order of things. This brings into the play idea of fate and the role with which it has in the play. One can only wonder if Macbeth ever had a chance of doing what was right after he met with the witches.
