• Overview: Assist in the development of the line and the private brand/label style plans within the context of the
sales/margin plans and business strategy
• Worked on the Domestic Knits Team (Jan 2012 – October 2014/ Made a lateral move to the Sweaters Team in
effort to gain more experience in import business ventures (October 2014-present)
• Essential Functions:
o Monitor and report merchandise performance by program and style in order to develop more profitable
assortments and monitor current on the floor merchandise performance through weekly selling reports
o Responsible for presenting at best seller meetings and making recommendations for a business strategy
based on previous sales and unit projections
o Participate in Call-out meetings - make financial specific recommendations for add/deletes to create
better assortments for greater sell-thrus
o Assist in monitoring Style Adoption Rate vs. Plan
o Responsible for communicating, conducting, and selling to divisions
o Assist in preparation of presentation materials for line previews and buy meetings to help ensure
customer buys appropriate assortment
o Lead buy recap meetings for placements and communicate any callouts assuring minimums are met
o Responsible for tracking/monitoring line development activities by following a seasonal T&A calendar
for area of responsibility
o Communicate all target costs and negotiate pricing with overseas/domestic vendors
o Create monthly selling recaps to determine voids/opportunities for future deliveries.
o Manage and develop Product Assistants, Trainees and Interns as determined through department
hierarchy

• EDP - Completed an interactive 3-week orientation phase focused on the Product Development Life Cycle
• Attended On-boarding sessions that included the fundamentals of merchandising and business analysis
curriculum to help prep in identifying trends and make recommendations to drive your business.
• Learned to identify emerging trends, conceptualize branded styles and partner with overseas offices and
domestic vendors to create the next assortment of private label product.
• Run Monday reports and perform weekly sales analytic assignments while assessing our business (Weekly Sell
Through/MMU%).
• Built constructive and collaborative relationships with cross functional partners such as design, technical design,
buyers, planners, etc.
• Work with teams responsible for procurement, product development, vendor partnerships, assortment planning,
financial analysis, localization planning, advertising, allocation, and replenishment.

• Communicate trends, product knowledge and selling information to other sales staff and top management
• Report issues and concerns to Brahmin Merchandising Coordinator Manager
• Provide before and after photographs for each visit and a brief weekly recap of sales, accomplishments,
issues, etc.
• Locate and fill in stock when necessary
• Ensure mark downs are taken as scheduled

• Pull samples for presentations such as best sellers meetings, class recaps and style out/ buy review

• Operate the design/ merchandising Integrated Style Information System software program to enter prices
