Why: Small Businesses Need Internet Security Solutions
All Bases Covered and Sonic Systems, the makers of SonicWALL firewall
security appliances, have recently partnered to promote and sell a joint service
offering called All Covered Secure featuring SonicWall Total Secure--an
economical, security solution tailored specifically for the needs of small
businesses. This joint managed service offering will allow ABC to continue
expanding its portfolio of value-added Extended Services initiatives, while
extending choice and flexibility to the technology services we provide our
customers. Starting February 5th
, Edith and Carlos will both be on the road
visiting the first six markets to launch this new service to our customers.
The first six markets that will serve as program launch sites for the All Covered
Secure (AC Secure) Program are Boston, Washington, D.C., Minneapolis,
Houston, Northern California and Seattle. During the first phase of the launch
(Feb 5-12), we will be introducing and training the field on the program, billing
and service process details to help prepare the sales, customer care and
consultant staff in each field office service our customers. The second phase
(Feb 25-March 9) of the AC Secure launch will take Edith and Carlos to the
remaining 12 ABC markets that will be introduced and trained on how to launch,
bill and manage this new Extended Services offering. Key to the success of
these initiatives will be field compliance in the handling of some of the minor
changes and modifications in GoBase processes for billing and timecard
handling that will be introduced to help ABC keep track of program revenues and
service adoption.
Why All Covered Secure featuring SonicWALL Total Secure
AC Secure is an ideal solution for customers who need to protect computers and
information on their network from unauthorized users or hackers and to mitigate
against data corruption from virus attacks. To help them protect their networks
from unwanted intrusions, we offer All Covered Secure (AC Secure) featuring
SonicWALL® TotalSecure™.
The service will be offered to customers as a monthly security service and will
require no up-front investments in hardware or software. Pricing will be based on
a monthly per-user model for the security service and will allow ABC to maintain
its pricing structure by allowing us to charge our normal rates for time &
materials. When a customer selects All Covered Secure, an ABC consultant will
install a state-of-the-art SonicWALL Internet Security Appliance on their network,
configure the appliance to facilitate the auto-updating of firewall and anti-virus

2. software on all computers on their network, and work with the Help Desk in
Houston to define the customer requirements for the Internet content filtering
service.
With All Covered Secure, our customers get:

Houston & Field offices.

• Automatic firewall and anti-virus updates.

with it.

monitored by you our technology experts and heroes
The Extended Services Re-launch
Additionally, while we are out in the field we will be taking the opportunity to re-
launch All Covered Back-up (formerly AC Connect), All Covered Purchase and
All Covered Access. The goal is to re-launch all these program nationally and to
introduce the newest ABC team members to our other Extended Services
Initiatives.
All Covered Back-Up (Re-launch): Connected remote, online back-up provides
data protection for desktops and laptops. ABC provides setup, installation and
configuration services onsite, and ABC charges ACC hourly rates for T&M.
All Covered Access (Re-launch): Internet provisioning with UUNet, XO
Communications, InternetConnect and Megapath to provide Internet connectivity.
Hourly charge for provisioning assistance and customer setup.
All Covered Purchase (Re-launch):
Technology research and purchasing charge-by-the-hour service.
