3. Grimsby first shot
This first shot is a two shot with a close up. They are
seen kissing and being extremely close to one another. It
looks like they are in wealthy surroundings which can
give the viewer the impression that the main protagonist
is wealthy. This amount of physical activity can imply that
they recently established a relationship.
4. Narrative
The main protagonist, Nobby Butcher has
become an alcoholic and started his own life with
his girlfriend and his children. Sebastian, also a
main protagonist has become one of MI6’s top
agents. He is sent out to protect a potential
assassination target. They are two brothers and
throughout the film they are seen running from
the authorities. There are many questions left
open about why Nobby abandoned Sebastian
which creates a lot of narrative enigma since the
audience is left wondering what in fact happened
and makes them watch more of the movie
hoping to find the answers to their questions.
