This document discusses the film industry and the differences between major studios and independent films. Major studios are part of large media conglomerates that are involved in diversified businesses besides movies. They produce blockbuster films with large budgets. Independent films are produced outside the major studio system and are produced and distributed independently with smaller budgets. The document instructs creating a table to list blockbuster and independent film titles and researching their production as major studio or independent films. It also guides creating a flowchart comparing the production processes of a blockbuster and independent film from pre-production to post-production.

production process

• Pick a different colour for each and annotate your
flowchart detailing differences in production
processes between the two films e.g. funding,
development, post-production, CGI, etc.
