An estimated 320,000-400,000 LGBTQ youth experience homelessness each year due to family rejection and lack of support. Just Like Home LLC will provide housing for up to 10 beds, with shared bathrooms and common areas. Residents will receive counseling, education support, and job training to transition to independent living. The estimated annual budget is $349,290 to cover housing, utilities, staffing, supplies and food. Progress will be monitored through documentation of school attendance, counseling sessions, and living assessments to facilitate success.
