This document discusses implementing ePortfolios in key courses in the ADGA department at City Tech to improve student learning and assessment. It provides an overview of OpenLab ePortfolios and their benefits for student research, self and peer assessment, advisement, and senior portfolio preparation. Examples are shown from first year courses ADV1100 and GRA1111 where students document their creative process and coursework in learning blogs and portfolios. The proposal is to structure ePortfolio implementation over four semesters to enhance student self-assessment, documentation for senior projects, the advisement process, and curriculum assessment. Feedback on the proposal is requested.
