This document provides instructions for adding research notes to references in EndNote Web. It explains that you should log into your EndNoteWeb account, click on "All My References" or a group name to access references. Then click the title of the reference you want and "Show Empty Fields" to display the research notes field at the bottom, where you can enter notes that will be searchable along with the references in Quick Search.

2. Accessing references
• Log into your EndNoteWeb account.
• Click on “All My References” or on the name of one
of your groups in order to access the references.

On the right of the screen, click on “Show Empty Fields”.

Scroll down to the very bottom of the screen until you
find the field “Research notes”.

7. Using the search option
If, in the future, you use EndNote’s “Quick Search”, it will
search throughout your references but also throughout
your notes!
