This document summarizes a student project that aimed to locate and map historical sites in Brunei. The project involved fieldwork research, GIS database design, and using Google Earth and KML files to disseminate information about 12 historical sites mapped by the student research assistants. While the assistants were able to pinpoint and mark the locations, more information about each site was still needed. The project targeted audience had not been defined. It was concluded that further research was needed, and the project could be improved with more time, resources, and access to information to help preserve Brunei's historical and cultural heritage.
