This session proposes to review the survey results and map how LRC managers can make some subtle changes to current working practices and embed new ways of working to address these needs, and provide the digital services and support that learners are asking for. This session hopes to inspire LRC managers and staff in order to meet these digital requirements, that learners have said will make a big difference to them.

The strategic indicators of digital transformation in education
Digital transformation of technological and methodical culture in education is highly topical from several aspects. Info-communicational strategies have already issued an action plan containing several points to be implemented in order to create digital state in the forthcoming years. In our present lecture we try to determine the indicators, which examine the selected contents by placing electronic learning environment (ELE) into focus, using tool system of comparative pedagogy, creative methods and document- and content analysing strategies. These aspects can be divided into four major intersections forming the changing structure of content analysis: pedagogy and frames of ELE; circumstances of introducing ELE, supporting systems; role, attitude and competences of human capital; sustainability. When selecting theoretical sample, multi-dimensional sample-taking is applied since time-, spacial, organisational-, administrative- and social scope is taken into consideration as well.

A study by the OECD found that increased investment in technology like computers and iPads in schools does not necessarily improve students' literacy and numeracy skills. However, the author argues that technology in the classroom helps develop students' critical thinking, collaboration skills, and motivation to learn - skills that are important for their future but not always assessed. When integrating technology, teachers should focus on enhancing learning outcomes and establishing clear educational goals, rather than just the technology itself.
Action Research 2009
This study examined student engagement in choral activities through observations of a 7th grade class over 10 lessons. The researcher developed a measurement tool called the Choral Typology to categorize activities as either Type A (teacher-directed, single-dimensional) or Type B (student-directed, multi-dimensional). Findings showed that Type B activities yielded higher student engagement across all categories, with gains of 9-18% compared to Type A. Activities involving peer interaction, movement, novelty, imagery and competition saw maximum participation. The researcher concludes that future lessons should incorporate more multi-dimensional, creative activities to engage all students and increase understanding.

Summative project
In this student teaching experience, the teacher integrated technology into lessons when limited resources were available. Careful planning was required to reserve tools like an overhead projector and laptop cart. The overhead projector was used daily to model math problems while maintaining eye contact. An LCD projector was used to display PowerPoints, websites, and videos to engage students in math and science lessons. Students enjoyed interactive lessons using a projector. Web 2.0 tools like Blabberize and Mystudiyo were used on laptops to introduce Bible characters and assess understanding. Students were engaged by the technology tools used to enhance their learning.

Quarterly report
The quarterly report summarizes the activities of the Working Children Program run by Caritas Pakistan in Faisalabad from January to March 2010. Action Research 2009
This study examined student engagement in choral activities through observations of a 7th grade class over 10 lessons. The researcher developed a measurement tool called the Choral Typology to categorize activities as either Type A (teacher-directed, single-dimensional) or Type B (student-directed, multi-dimensional). Findings showed that Type B activities yielded higher student engagement across all categories, with gains of 9-18% compared to Type A. Activities involving peer interaction, movement, novelty, imagery and competition saw maximum participation. This case study will present findings on developing digital competencies for Library staff arising from the L2L project (www.L2L.ie). L2L was a two year collaborative project based in Ireland led by Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT), with Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and Institute of Technology Carlow (ITC). This project was funded by the National Forum for Teaching and Learning with the aim of exploring its professional development framework (https://www.teachingandlearning.ie/wp-content/uploads/NF-2016-National-Professional-Development-Framework-for-all-Staff-Who-Teach-in-Higher-Education.pdf) through the lens of library staff.
This case study will consider how library staff can identify and chart the development of digital competencies and skills so as to remain current and viable in a constantly evolving digital landscape using the framework. Reflections will be offered on how engaging with the Professional Development Framework and more specifically Domain 5: Personal and Professional Digital Capacity in Teaching, can foster the development of personal proficiency/knowledge in digital competencies thus supporting our role in Teaching and Learning and our professional practice. The concept of drafting a “digital philosophy statement” will be considered and how this can be potentially used as a sustainable CPD tool.

Developing and Creating Interactive e-Tutorials
