Preparations for promotional photo-shoot
(ancillary tasks) – props, costume,
equipment, etc
14/12/16
All necessary actors and crew will be informed of the time and place
of the shoot, along with any costumes or props they need to bring, at
least one day prior. We have exchanged contact information and
schedules, so arranging this should not be a problem.
Ancillary Task 1 – Theatrical poster –
photographs need to have been fully
processed and poster completed.
31/12/16
The poster should be put together in Adobe Photoshop CS6. I have
lots of experience using this program and so there shouldn’t be any
technical difficulties while producing it.
Ancillary Task 2 – Magazine Cover –
photographs need to have been fully
processed and magazine cover completed.
31/12/16
The magazine cover should be put together using the same method
as the poster (although using different images etc), and so there
should be no issues.
Shooting Day 1: Nene Park Academy Media
Studio – All footage requiring the studio will
be shot on this date.
15/12/16 There should be no complications with this task, as the studio is very
easily accessible and will already contain the vital equipment we
need, such as lighting. Actors and crew will be informed of this.

Shooting Day 2: The Woods – All footage
requiring this location will be shot on this
date.
27/12/16
There may be slight complications with this due to lighting and
weather – as it is winter, we will be losing light faster and so
shooting has to be relatively fast (to avoid shooting on another date
and risking the continuity factor). Weather may also be unpredictable
and delay shooting. Communication with actors and crew will be
imperative to remain organised.
Shooting Day 3: RAF North Witham – All
footage requiring this location will be shot on
this date.
02/01/17
As with the woods shoot, there may be delays due to weather and
possibly transport. Again, communication will be key and props,
costumes and equipment will need to be prepared at least one day
prior.
Shooting Day 4: The Park – All footage
requiring this location will be shot on this
date.
25/01/17
Will go ahead with no foreseeable problems as it is a public space, if
the weather permits. If the weather is quite cold, we will make sure
to wear plenty of layers, to ensure the safety of our actors and crew.
Shooting Day 5: The Alleyway – All footage
requiring this location will be shot on this
date.
27/01/17 –
29/01/17
As with the other exterior shots, weather conditions will have to be
kept in mind. A small amount of equipment and props will be needed
and all are easily attainable.
Creating a rough cut of the trailer (all clips
together and in order, colour grading
complete, but no soundtrack or edits
according to synchronisation)
07/02/17
This will likely take quite a while, although editing can be started
before all shooting days have been completed. Once all clips are in
order and colour graded, etc, we can consider it a rough cut and
then make more detailed decisions such as the soundtrack (it will
need to fit in with the footage we have) and on-screen text etc.

Complete the details: soundtrack,
synchronisation of soundtrack to footage,
pacing editing, on-screen text and title cards.
15/02/17
This step shouldn’t take as long as the rough cut because we will
already have this to work with. This step is more about perfecting
and tweaking.
Completion of the trailer 28/02/17 By this date, the trailer should be complete.
