Why?(Access, Lighting,Sound ) Additional Comments / Observations The Woods– Orton Longueville These are woodsthat are fairlylocal to bothmyself and mygroup, beingabout tenminutes away. It isa publicareaand so no permissionsare neededtofilmthere, and itis a short distance away,making it veryeasilyaccessible to us. As itis a publicspace, otherpeople maybe present,whichwould disruptourfilming because we needquiet and nobodybesides the actors in the frame. To preventthis,we are shootingrelativelylate inthe dayand will make sure to go to a more remote areathan an openspace. Alleyway1 Thisis a relativelylong passagewaya short walk away fromme. We wouldlike to use thisat nightfor the chase scene withour characters Eve and Anon. Thisis a veryeasily accessible location because itisonlya few minutesawayfrom me,alsomeaningthat we will have a‘base’ we can easilygetto for equipmentandsetting up. It has adequate lightingasthere are LED streetlightsall alongit,as well as some amberonesto give a softyellow glow if we wantedit, meaningitisnot likely we will need additional lighting. Shootingatnightwill give ita more tense and spooky atmosphere asthe menacingAnon appearsfromthe shadowstochase Eve. Additionally,itisa spot usedforgraffiti, matchingour theme of crime.

We have chosenthis locationforour dialogue scene,where Alice andGeorge discussthe disappearance of Eve. The characters will sit on the swingsinthe playgroundasthey talk.Theywill also exchange propdrugs. Due to it beinga public area,there shouldn’t be any issueswithus filmingthere aslongas we make sure there is nobodyelse around whowouldrathernot be in the footage,such as any parentsor childrenwhomayvisit the park. To prevent this,we will be goingin the afternoon,mid- week,before schools typicallyend,meaning there islessof a chance there will be people there. RAF North Witham+ surrounding woods area An olddisused RAF site about an hour away. We have chosenthis locationforour ‘abandoneddruggie house’shoot,where Eve will be taking drugs. Since the locationis disused,there maybe issueswithpermission, but we have decidedto go to the locationas there isno formal way to requestit.We will thensee if it’s accessible andif not, make our owndruggie ‘shack’. Nene Park Academy MediaStudio A mediastudio locatedat Nene Park Academy, Orton Longueville. Thisis a small,but professionalmedia studiowithstudio lightsandbackground sheets.Itisfree to use and permissiontouse it can be easily obtained.We wantto use thislocationfor the scene inwhich Anonistypingon a laptop,justbefore the voice-overwill begin. We chose itbecause it will be dark,meaning we can have Anon illuminatedbythe glow of the laptopand possiblyanextraLED external light. Withthe lightsoff,the room iscompletely dark, allowingfor artificial lightingtobe used.Itis alsosound- proof whichmeanswe will have betteraudio. Beinga shortdistance away,it wasa great choice because all of our actors and crew can get to itquickly.
