2. HYPERTEXT
It is a system for writing
and display text links to
additional information
on that text. Hypertext
has been defined as an
approach to manage and
organize information in
which data is stored in a
network of nodes
connected by links.
The constructivist model
is characterized in this
process, which allows the
student to find
information that guides
you turn by itself or turn
to one of his
companions. Exploring
the hypertext helps
students become an
active explorer of
information in the
process of language
acquisition
And also the cognitive
model has to do here.
Have an associated
intuitive user interface; it
is intended to mimic the
workings of the human
mind, using cognitive
models, so the user
should not make great
efforts to obtain the
required information
3. HYPERMEDIA
Hypermedia is related to hypertext,
hypermedia systems are "organizers
of textual information, graphical
visual and audible through links that
create associations between related
information in the system" (Charity
and Moscoso).
Hypermedia is related to
CALL (Intelligent
Computer-Assited
Language Learning), which
obviously means it has a
higher level than CALL.
In hypermedia the hook for
a link no longer simply
limited to a word or group
of words, it can also be,
sound or video image
4. Multimedia refers to anything that uses
several media simultaneously in the
transmission of information, through text,
animations, videos, images and sounds
Multimedia communication is a source of
help for understanding and language
learning, as it is very similar to human
communication.
The striking environment which is
designed multimedia programs to the
attention of students and encourages
them to light. Some of these programs
have been designed as a tool, so that
they have not focused on satisfying the
concerns of students.
