• It is a popular free social networking site with more than a billion of users
around the world .

• Allows users to microblog or broadcast short messages called “ twits “

It is a social networking that enables the users to share mobile photo and video
either publicly or privately .
SNAPCHAT
• It is also designed for photo , sharing , and messaging services .
ASSISTIVE MEDIA
• It was the first internet based reading services for persons with visual and
reading impairments .

• Known as junk email
EMAIL SPOOFING
• Usually used by spammers to hide the origin of the spam .
PISHING
• Trying to get confidential information such as passwords and usernames and
credit card details by making it appear as it comes from a trustworthy source
.
PHARMING
• Dangerous hacker attack on a website which directs all traffic to that website
to another fictitious website .
SPYWARE
• It is a computer program that is installed covertly on a personal computer to
collect information or even take control over the computer without the
knowledge of the users .
COMPUTER WORM
• Dangerous computer program that replicates itself if through a network
TROJAN HORSE
• It can erase data , can allow access of the victims .
COMPUTER VIRUS
• Spreads like a real biological virus , where in it catches itself .
HACKER
• Enter another’s computer ,usually information victims website.
SECURITY CENTER
• The place where you can set additional protection from THREAT .
FIREWALL
• Protects your computer from unauthorized entries ,viruses , worms .
AUTOMATIC UPDATES
• Another feature of windows which turned on automatically download
updates from microsoft .
VIRUS PROTECTION
• It is about the current antivirus software installed in your computer .
ANTIVIRUS
• Software is meant to locate , find , and remove , virus , threats that are
already in your computer .

STEP 1:CREATING A RECIPIENT LIST
• 1.Click the milling tab ,go to the start group and click select recipient .
• 2.On the list of the options select type new list
• 3. On the new address list dialog box,click new entry and type the recipient
information
• 4.Click OK
STEP 2 :PREPARE YOUR PUBLICATION
• 1.Create your publication in MS word
• 2.Insert any additional text that you want to appear in the every version of

• -Use suffixes that are added to the end of the file name

• 1.UNCOMPRESSED OR RAW FORMAT
• -Usually used for storing original file format , it is a flexible form but needs bigger
memory to store.
• 2.LOSSLESS FILE FORMAT
• -Is a file format that was uncompressed to replicate the original quality but at a
reduce file size.
• 3.LOSSY FILE FORMAT
• -File format that was compressed as an approximation.
VECTOR IMAGE OR GRAPHICS FILES
• VECTOR IMAGES
• -are lossless files created using mathematical geometric equations to represent
images in digital computer graphics .
• VECTOR GRAPHICS
• -Has the advantages of retaining its quality at any desired imaged size .
• VECTOR FORMAT OR GRAPHIC
• -Is the preferred format for those who desire quality prints and display of
images .

• -A page description language developed by adobe that described the appearance of a printed page .

• -Most common vector format on the internet, developed by the WWW to display vector graphics.

• -Should be legible ,appropriate font face and arranged either left justified or centered
• IMAGE
• -Should be proportionate with sharp color and high resolution

• -The element should be close together and not scattered and arranged apart from each otheR

• -There should be uniformity of theme on each page

• - Used color to create interest by providing variety in design like the
use of color contrast and shape

• -Using shadow effect will make the image realistic

• -When combining images ,resize the image to make it proportionate and realistic

• -Is a native file format for ADOBE PHOTOSHOP , and since many are using this program to create images

INSTALLING GIMP
• 1.Go to www.gimp.org.
• 2.Then CLICK download
• 3.Select DOWNLOAD GIMP directly
• 4.Run the GIMP installer
• 5.Click Install
• 6.Wait for it to finish the installation then CLICK FINISH.

• Graphics program that allows you to create slide shows presenting a topic ,
lecture ,demonstration to enlighten ,educate ,communicate , or persuade the
