This document presents a report on the application of porous medium technology in internal combustion engines, emphasizing its potential to enhance combustion processes and reduce emissions. It outlines the characteristics of porous structures, the challenges associated with their use, and proposes concepts for improved combustion efficiency through homogeneous mixture formation and controlled ignition. The study also describes a numerical model developed for optimizing combustion in porous media, highlighting preliminary results and the promise of achieving near-zero emissions.
