Levi Hodge was required to create a five minute section of a documentary as part of constructing his Advanced Portfolio. He researched observational and expository documentaries to learn about key codes and conventions. By watching documentaries like Grizzly Man and Supersize Me, Levi took detailed notes on conventions used. This allowed him to strengthen his knowledge and include different codes and conventions, such as voiceover narration, interviews, and archive footage, in his own documentary called Breakthrough Mentoring.
