This document presents a study on the modeling and analysis of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems in downlink communication, utilizing a duality structure of quadratic norms to simplify the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) expression in Rayleigh fading channels. The research includes performance metrics like outage probability and ergodic capacity, validated through Monte Carlo simulations. The findings highlight the effectiveness of receiver diversity in multi-user environments and offer a novel approach for improving key performance indicators (KPIs) in cellular networks.
