This document discusses a study on third-party logistics (3PL) services and their performance in India. It conducted a survey of 117 customers of Blue Dart, one of the top 3PL companies in India. Through factor analysis, it identified four key factors that influence customer satisfaction: 1) information technology factors like quality, training, e-commerce and IT; 2) logistics factors like problem solving, logistics as part of company operations, improving logistics, and reverse logistics usage; 3) cost factors like damage and cost; and 4) customer factors like convenience and customer availability.
