Analysis of linkages between logistics information systems andAlexander Decker
This document summarizes a research study analyzing the linkages between logistics information systems and logistics performance management under uncertainty. The study used a survey and case study to examine how various dimensions of logistics information system usage, like perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, affect logistics performance management. The researchers developed a framework and hypotheses to analyze the relationships between these factors. Exploratory factor analysis and ANOVA were used to examine the associations. The results showed that perceived support and usefulness of logistics information systems had a positive impact on logistics performance management. A case study of a large retail company also demonstrated how implementing logistics information systems and linking performance indicators across departments can improve overall logistics performance management.

Do Technological and Organizational Innovation Have Significant Influences on...inventionjournals
Logistics service providers (LSPs) need to engage with the innovation to achieve performance and keep their competitive advantage. LSPs are required to develop innovation in logistics activities to face challenges in the market. Logistics innovation can be considered as any type of associated service in logistics service. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the technological and organizational innovation as factors to measure the logistics performance of LSPs. Partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was conducted to examine relationship with logistics performance using SmartPLS 3 software. Technological innovation was found insignificant effect on logistics performance. Effects of Supply Chain Management Practices On The Performance Of Banks In K...Editor IJCATR
The paper examines the adoption of the Supply Chain Management practices on the performance
of Banks in Kenya. This research conceptualizes and develops four dimensions of SCM practice
(outsourcing of goods & services, information & communication technology, strategic supplier
partnership, and globalization) and tests the relationships between SCM practices, and
organizational performance. The study employed descriptive design. Data for the study was
collected using a self-administered questionnaire procedure, where the questionnaires were
administered to the selected respondents through drop and pick later technique. A sample size of
33 respondents was drawn from the sample frame using simple stratified random sampling
technique to promote the needs for efficiency and representativeness from various branches and
outlets of Postbank as an organization in Nairobi County and the relationships proposed in the
framework was tested using Chi-square, T-test among other statistical tools. Data was analyzed
by aid of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The study will be useful in the academic
circles as it will contribute immensely towards filling the gaps in knowledge in the area of service
industry. The study found that outsourcing was important to the banks only when the appropriate
methods are employed. It also found that ICT had a major role in determining the performance of
banks as it dictated the mode of transaction and data they displayed to clients. Strategic
partnership was also important based on what it intended to achieve in enhancing the performance
of banks. Lastly, globalization is equally vital as it increases competition and exposes local banks
to global scene to experience how performance of banks can be improved. The study recommends
that correct ICT methods should be applied to promote the competitiveness of banks and improve
performance. Also it recommends that outsourcing be done only if they promote the objectives and
goals of the banking institute.

A new fuzzy dematel todim hybrid method for evaluation criteria of knowledge ...ijmvsc
Knowledge management (KM) adoption in the supply chain network needs a good investment as well as
few changes in the culture of the entire SC. Knowledge management is the process of creating,
distributing and transferring information. The goal of this study is to Rank KM criteria in supply chain
network in Iran which is important for firms these days. Criterion used in this paper were extracted from
the literature review and were confirmed by supply chain experts. The proposed approach for ranking and
finding out about these criterion is hybrid fuzzy DEMATEL-TODIM, with using fuzzy number as data for
our studies we could avoid uncertainty. The data was gathered from PhD. And Ms. Students in industrial
engineering of Kharrazmi university of Tehran and PhD. And Ms. Students of the management department
of Semnan university. A new hybrid approach was used for achieving the results of this study. This new
hybrid approach ranks data criteria respect to each other, then by using TODIM for ranking respect to
the best situation (gains), the rates of criterion were determined which is a very important advantage.

This document discusses unfair dismissal from both a civil law and statutory perspective. At common law, damages for wrongful dismissal are limited as employers can generally dismiss with proper notice. Statutory unfair dismissal provides employees greater protection by considering whether dismissal was reasonable given the employer's size and resources, and whether proper grievance/disciplinary procedures were followed. The standards of fairness and reasonableness aim to balance employer and employee interests in dismissal cases.
