I am conducting very powerful HPL workshops for anyone looking to take public speaking to the next level and build a personal brand. This is how TI explains the HPL.
High Performance Leadership
High Performance Leadership features five projects offering instruction and practice in such vital leadership areas as developing a vision, goal-setting and planning, developing plans and strategies, and team-building. It also gives you feedback on your leadership skills. The program may be completed within your Toastmasters club, area or district, and even within your company or community.
Perhaps you would enjoy taking on a project for your club or district while serving as an officer or committee chairman. Or, if you are an employee or supervisor in a business organization, you could do a leadership project related to the needs of your organization. Other possibilities include projects for your community, church, an association or professional group, or some other organization. Your project can be almost anything, so long as it is legal, ethical, and socially responsible, and your activities are not represented as being endorsed by Toastmasters International.

Make L&D Count - Shape a strong business case for L&DAlexandra Lederer
Workshop at Forward Government Learning Conference, July 2016 - Canberra, Australia
How often have we heard "demonstrate me the value of L&D"? or "the L&D budget will be cut this year" or seen little or inappropriate staffing levels in L&D?
Based on lessons learnt from experiences in large, mid-sized and start-up private organisations, the objective of this workshop is to take you through a pragmatic journey to shape a strong business case for your L&D.
By the end of the session you will have acquired hands-on processes and tools to help you:
- Assess the critical knowledge issues of your organisation and how to address them
- Get buy-in from stakeholders to support and sponsor your L&D strategy
- Measure and demonstrate the ROI of your learning initiatives
I hope that you design your own workbook and visual management boards. Making this process your own is how the work is enabled. Most people take a course and download the software or the workbook and try to apply without going through the necessary steps to learn the process. I hope that you have started your experiment, your PDCA cycle in adding these thoughts to your toolbox and the way you do your work. There is a Slideshare presentation on the workbook using this slide deck.
APM webinar sponsored by the Midlands branch on 4 August 2021.

Confirming dna replication origins of saccharomyces cerevisiae a deep learnin...Abdelrahman Hosny
In the past, the study of medicine used to focus on observing biological processes that take place in organisms, and based on these observations, biologists would make conclusions that translate into a better understanding of how organisms systems work. Recently, the approach has changed to a computational paradigm, where scientists try to model these biological processes as mathematical equations or statistical models. In this study, we have modeled an important activity of cell replication in a type of bacteria genome using different deep learning network models. Results from this research suggest that deep learning models have the potential to learn representations of DNA sequences, hence predicting cell behavior. With massive amounts of computational power, machines can now recognize objects and translate speech in real time. Thanks to Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence is now getting smart. Deep Learning models attempt to mimic the activity of the neocortex. It is understood that the activity of these layers of neurons is what constitutes a brain to be able to "think". These models learn to recognize patterns in digital representations of data in a very similar sense to humans. In this survey report, we introduce the most important concepts of Deep Learning along with the state of the art models that are now widely adopted in commercial products.

Smartphones architecture is generally different from
common desktop architectures. It is limited by power, size and
cost of manufacturing with the goal to provide the best
experience for users in a minimum cost. Stemming from this
fact, modern micro-processors are designed with an
architecture that has three main components: an application
processor that executes the end user’s applications, a modem
responding to baseband radio activities, and peripheral devices
for interacting with the end user.
Parallelism
Multicores:
The Cortex A7 MPCore processor implements the ARMv7-A
architecture. The Cortex A7 MPCore processor has one to
four processors in a single multi-processor device. The
following figure shows an example configuration with four
processors [3].
In this paper, we are discussing the architecture of the
application processor of Apple iPhone. Specifically, Apple
iPhone uses ARM Cortex generation of processors as their
core. The following sections discusses this architecture in terms
of Instruction Set Architecture, Memory Hierarchy and
Parallelism.
Implementing a Caching Scheme for Media Streaming in a Proxy ServerAbdelrahman Hosny
In the past few years, websites have moved from being
static web pages into rich media applications that use audio,
images and videos heavily in their interaction with users. This
change has made a dramatic change in network traffics
nowadays. Organizations spend a lot of effort, time and money
to improve response time and design intermediary systems that
enhance overall user experience. Media traffic represents
about 69.9-88.8% of all traffic. Therefore, enhancing networks
to accommodate this large traffic is a major trend. Content
Distribution Networks (CDNs) are now largely deployed for a
faster delivery of media. Redundancy and caching are also
implemented to decrease response time.
In this project, we are implementing a caching scheme for
media streaming in a proxy server. Unlike CDNs, which
require huge infrastructure, our caching proxy server will be
as simple as a piece of software that is portable and can be
installed in small as well as large scales. It may be deployed in
a university network, company’s private network or on ISPs
servers. This caching scheme, specially tailored for media
streaming, will reduce traffic and enhance network efficiency
in general.

One day, I was asked to present Microsoft Student Partner program and Microsoft Tech-Club at Assiut University. The problem was that the time allowed for me was ONLY 10 minutes. How can I present that amazing program in only 10 minutes and attract audience.
I thought for a while to find a new idea and here what I come up to.
Enjoy :D

Comparing Stability and Sustainability in Agile SystemsRob Healy
Copy of the presentation given at XP2024 based on a research paper.
In this paper we explain wat overwork is and the physical and mental health risks associated with it.
We then explore how overwork relates to system stability and inventory.
Finally there is a call to action for Team Leads / Scrum Masters / Managers to measure and monitor excess work for individual teams.
Artificial intelligence (AI) offers new opportunities to radically reinvent the way we do business. This study explores how CEOs and top decision makers around the world are responding to the transformative potential of AI.
The case study discusses the potential of drone delivery and the challenges that need to be addressed before it becomes widespread.
Key takeaways:
Drone delivery is in its early stages: Amazon's trial in the UK demonstrates the potential for faster deliveries, but it's still limited by regulations and technology.
Regulations are a major hurdle: Safety concerns around drone collisions with airplanes and people have led to restrictions on flight height and location.
Other challenges exist: Who will use drone delivery the most? Is it cost-effective compared to traditional delivery trucks?
Discussion questions:
Managerial challenges: Integrating drones requires planning for new infrastructure, training staff, and navigating regulations. There are also marketing and recruitment considerations specific to this technology.
External forces vary by country: Regulations, consumer acceptance, and infrastructure all differ between countries.
Demographics matter: Younger generations might be more receptive to drone delivery, while older populations might have concerns.
Stakeholders for Amazon: Customers, regulators, aviation authorities, and competitors are all stakeholders. Regulators likely hold the greatest influence as they determine the feasibility of drone delivery.
