I drew these three
road drawings
because traffic
along Leon Smith
Parkway is getting
worse and worse.
When the Anniston
Eastern Bypass
opens, traffic will
get worse.
As you can see in
the road drawings
to the left, my
plan would widen
the road to three
lanes in each
direction with
more turn lanes
added.
The intersection at
Interstate 20
would change
dramatically with
Alabama’s first
real SPUI
intersection in the
state.
The new road plan
would also take
out the right turn
yield ramps with
separate traffic
light and two right
turn lanes.
Overall, this plan
would move traffic
more efficiently
than the current
road design.
Having most of
your stores in one
small area causes
major traffic
problems,
especially during
the Christmas
holidays.
