The A+nyWhere Learning System (A+LS) is an e-learning program that provides core K-12 curriculum content in subjects like reading, math, science, and social studies delivered online through a course management system. It offers assessment and instructional tools to meet the needs of all students, from remedial to advanced, and can be used for credit recovery, dropout prevention, after school programs, and more. While it is flexible in allowing students to learn anywhere with internet access, the initial setup is difficult and teachers have no way of knowing if students are doing their own work. School districts pay significant fees for the program, with contracts often exceeding $80,000.

The school was on the verge of being advanced for leadership, administration, and instructional support.

Evaluating the effectiveness of innovative pedagogies – a personal reflection

The Texas STaR Chart is a technology survey completed by school staff to assess a school's progress towards yearly technology goals and assist with budgeting, projects, and planning. It measures how well technology standards are being integrated across a school district to ensure students receive mandated technology instruction. The areas of focus include online classroom learning, connecting content areas, and mastery of technology applications standards. Shepherd Primary School's data shows teaching and learning has slightly increased but remains developing, while educator preparation decreased after initial improvement and infrastructure scores greatly improved between 2007-2008.

Pta meeting 2014
The PTA meeting focused on student test scores over the last five years. Data showed that reading scores at Smith Middle School were below the district averages, especially in 6th and 7th grades. However, Smith Middle School saw improvements in 8th grade reading, mathematics, and writing scores over time. To remedy lower reading scores, the school plans to implement research-based reading strategies and techniques to aid 6th and 7th grade preparation, which they expect will also lead to increased mathematics and writing scores. The presentation concluded with an invitation for questions.

This thesis explores how career-related decisions are shaped for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds during their transition from compulsory schooling. Thirteen young people participated in interviews over two years, which utilized visual methods to understand their experiences.
